Generation Zero

Generation Zero:Sean Hannity is talking about it. Tea Packers Ball in Nashville is shielded. For many people, that would be enough to lose all interest in permanently “she”, but in this case it would be regrettable. “It” is “Generation Zero“, a documentary that suggests that it was not deregulation that caused financial difficulties of the United States, but a generational crisis of ego and selfishness. The filmmakers say it is likely that this crisis – which was born of the Great Depression, and is now endemic – is largely responsible for the conduct of those running a personal loan company to satisfy their greed. The financial responsibility is always encouraged, but is sadly an alien concept to many people.
Baby Boom makes economic crater

Newscorpse and others do not buy it, but let’s think of the “Generation Zero” argument. The “Greatest Generation” fought for economic disaster and the war in 1930 and 1940, and promised that their children should never have to face the same difficulties in their own lives. Thus, the filmmakers say, there was an abuse of parents to children in the 1950s and 1960s. Instead of shielding them, the parents gave them too much. Has served generations of socially decadent drown their woes in the consumer, rather than attacking the root cause of problems?
Oh, those hippie anti-social …

The liberal politics of the children of Woodstock is in “Generation Zero sights, but that is certainly too simplistic. A more realistic view might be that a combination of Wall Street and Capitol Hill led us into recession, where greed, lax regulation and ignorance of the principles of sound financial led to take excessive risks. This is a similar site that covers Michael Moore in “Capitalism: A Love Story,” where financial institutions are given help, but citizens are left to twist in the wind.

But no, it can be. “Zero Generation” is a conservative film “Capitalism: A Love Story” is a liberal movie – never the twain shall meet, right? Maybe not. Newscorpse draws our attention to a part of a recent change in the air between Sean Hannity and the “Generation Zero” film producer and director:

Sean Hannity: Is the political system is more corrupt? Because I believe that capitalism works. Capitalism is the answer.
David Bossie, Producer: It is clear that Congress is corrupt. Capitol Hill is the problem, not Wall Street here.
Stephen Bannon, Director: I think it’s an inseparable network between the Capitol and Wall Street. […] You had the American taxpayer, the average American middle class, paying taxes to bail out these big companies, and there has been no change in behavior, no change in the structure, no change in regulation.

Bannon’s idea makes more sense

Politics are never as simple as right versus left. “Zero Generation” is a film born of the right sensitivity, but can be more impartial than you think. As our economic downturn continues – without recovery “sustainable” in sight, according to Ben Bernanke – you may think you need a low rate personal loans and over again. Provided they do not borrow more than they can pay, will not be making the same mistake that has everyone in this mess in the first place.
