Gears Of War 3

Gears Of War 3Gears Of War 3, What makes Gears of War is so special? Is the appearance (a scorched earth drain most of its color, dotted with giant insects and beefy marines)? It is the story (an epic science fiction saga of war with emotional weight)? Maybe it’s the gameplay?
Although it provides on all fronts, the game is really what sets apart Gears of War. If a player or multiplayer (competitive or cooperative), this third person shooter duck and cover is very rewarding. It has the ebb and flow of refuge and attack, brute force and tactical maneuvers (soon learn to work well with your computer) and a variety of weapons.

Along with perennial favorites (wide arches, chainsaw bayonets and the “Hammer of Dawn”, which fires a devastating explosion of a satellite), there are some nice new surprises, as the “digger”, who is buried in the ground as bugs bunny before it springs from the earth and exploding. As always, your avatar is robust and agile.

This time the villains have been adapted, which is a logical progression of history and it also means they are no longer underground. So instead of caverns and caves, the war is above ground in the abandoned cities (one looks like a modern Cinderella Pompeii). It’s a beautiful looking game, and these devastated communities are really troubling.

This is a good step forward in the narrative, with the long war that comes to mind and (more than in previous releases), some genuine pathos. Well, not war and peace, but the game is no room for an examination of conscience on the characters and raises a few questions about the horror of the war and moral commitments.

However, this series is probably best known for his attitude towards subtlety: I do not like! More than anything, is a game of bloody combat, Scrappy and exciting. Gears franchise is attractive and great, and Gears of War 3 feels like a grand finale. But I sincerely hope not.
