Ga Lottery, Lottery officials in Georgia say the failure of a store clerk led to a woman Lithonia winner and $ 25 million.
The lottery says 44-year-old Kathy Scruggs matched the winning numbers in the Powerball drawing on Sept. 14. She says she had asked for a Mega Millions ticket.
Scruggs claimed his prize Monday at the headquarters of the Georgia Lottery in Atlanta.
Scruggs said that ticket ended in a Mega Millions and Powerball ticket.
Quik Pik ticket award on was purchased in a convenience store in Decatur.
The winning numbers were 16-41-42-50-59 and the Powerball was 5.
Scruggs selected and will receive cash and before tax 15,124,017.
Scruggs, who has been looking for a job, now plans to buy a car, travel and help your family and others.
