Freddie MercuryFreddie Mercury, Google doodle today celebrates what would be the 65th birthday of one of the most extraordinary rock stars of the 20th century – Freddie Mercury.

Mercury was best known for his role in the band Queen, the pumping of such classic hits as We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions and Bohemian Rhapsody. He rocked stages all over the world with his amazing vocal range and stage presence outgoing sadly died before 1991.

The Mercury animated shows scribbles on a mission through time and space, jumping from his time in a world of 8 bits, riding a tiger (like you), which quickly becomes a super-sonic space-runner all the music of Do not Stop Ne now.

Not only is the scenario how we spend the weekend, which is so beautifully created in a drawing that caused our own Nick Hide to exclaim: “I am calling: doodle best ever.” Strong words indeed.

In the official Google blog, Queen guitarist Brian May, Mercury said, “Freddie would have been 65 this year, and although not physically here, his presence seems more powerful than ever.

“Freddie was the last person in the back of further support in a stadium feel like I was connected people has given proof that a man can achieve their dreams -. I felt that by him were overcoming their own timidity, and each time the powerful figure of his ambitions.

“And he lived life to the fullest. Devoured life. Held every minute. And, like a comet, leaving a streak of light that shine for generations to come.”
