Florida JobsFlorida Jobs, Texas may be getting all the attention in the field of work lately, but what about Florida? New Republican candidate Rick Perry, Governor of Texas, is promoting distinction of its status as the top job producer in the country.

And the numbers back up the runner status of the Lone Star state: since 2010, nearly one in five jobs added to payrolls across the country came from Texas, according to the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The proportion of Texas declined in 2011, states, and once again began adding jobs. Texas remains the front, representing 13 percent of the 860,000 jobs created between January and June. California has the second slot with a market share of 10 percent. 75,000 new jobs in Florida gave him a third with a 9 per cent.

But factor in the size of the workforce in each state, and Florida numbers are better. While the Sunshine State finished third in job creation, the country has the fourth largest workforce after California, Texas and New York. In the “list of over-states rendimiento” creating a higher proportion of jobs that the relative size of its workforce – Florida finished second behind Texas.

Of course, job creation does not solve the recruitment crisis, if employers are not adding enough positions for the unemployed to find work. At 10.6 percent, Florida has the nation’s fourth-worst unemployment rate. Texas, finished 20th in the list, with unemployment at 8.2 percent. The national unemployment rate is 9.1 percent.
