Fantasy Baseball 2012, The 2012 Major League Baseball season is fast approaching which means that it brings with it the 2012 fantasy baseball season. Millions of baseball fans will cram into basements with their friends and act like what they’re doing isn’t exactly like Dungeons & Dragons as they scan rosters for the perfect lineup.

For the Angels fans who also happen to play fantasy baseball, there are a handful of players that they can grab in the draft, from players to take in the first round to late-round sleepers that help their fantasy owners brag about the fact that they have enough baseball knowledge to run a real team.

Of course, on the top of the list as a sure-fire first-rounder is new Angels first baseman Albert Pujols. He is currently ranked second on ESPN’s top 300 fantasy baseball prospects only behind Detroit Lions first baseman Miguel Cabrera. Last season for the Cardinals, Pujols played in 147 games, scoring 105 runs, hitting 37 home runs and earning a batting average of .299.
