Facebook Video ChatFacebook Video Chat, It’s a simple formula: the largest social network, plus the world’s largest system of video-chat, is equal to the world’s easiest one-click way to instantly see your friends.
The video chat Facebook’s announcement means that its 750 million users will be able to talk to any of your friends on line a new partnership with Skype, which may soon be part of Microsoft.

“It’s so minimal and so easy to use, just think many people will want to use it,” said Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook.

After six months of planning with Skype, Zuckerberg announced that the new video called Facebook chat feature on Wednesday at a press conference with Tony Bates, CEO of Skype, Facebook and other employees at its headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif. The announcement confirms one of the many rumors had been floating in recent weeks about a new feature that Zuckerberg considers “impressive.”

In the coming weeks, users will see a small icon video chat windows and a “Call” button on their profile pages with a single click will start a noise sound on the computer of a friend. A window will open, asking the friend to accept or reject the call.

If that friend who has never used the video-calling feature, a plug-in can be installed within 10 to 20 seconds before the call begins, says Zuckerberg.

When a friend accepts a call, a window appears in the center of the screen, which displays the first person that makes the call (so you know how you look). Then the person at the other end of the call appears.

“This is possible thanks to the social infrastructure already exists,” said Zuckerberg, who suggests that the past five years have been about connecting people, but now is the time to build on top of existing technology with new features.

“The narrative drive for the next five years will not be on the wiring to the world,” says Zuckerberg. “This will be about what kind of new things that we build.”

Adding to the new video feature called two advances launched by Facebook, chat group and a new design.

More than 50 percent of Facebook users are active in groups, says Peter Deng, a Facebook product manager. People connect with each other and want to connect with several people at once without having to set up a chat group in advance, he says.

With the role of multi-person chat, a user can chat with someone and then invite other friends in the same chat window. If your friend is online, the message is received instantly, but if the friend is offline, the message is sent to the user’s mailbox.

The third new feature on Wednesday announced a redesign of the chat tab would take into account the size of a user’s browser.

“The design of the new chat includes a sidebar that shows people that most of the messages,” wrote Philip Su, software engineer at Facebook, a blog. “Now it’s easier to find your friends and start a conversation. The sidebar is adjusted to fit the browser window, and automatically appears when the window is wide enough.”

The announcement of three new functions “marks the beginning of the launch of the 2011 season,” says Zuckerberg.

When asked if the features have been announced for Facebook on mobile devices, said they are mostly designed for the browser, but the group chat will appear just as a talk by one person on a mobile device.

“We try to do every thing and every thing very well, and then work on the following, which will probably start tomorrow,” says Zuckerberg.
