Emily VanCampEmily VanCamp:Updating a previous report, Emily VanCamp is indeed his split with the brothers and sisters and her role as Rebecca at the beginning of the ABC series’ next season this fall.

Below are excerpts from an interview with Emily gave EW, where it says things about his departure, what happens to Rebecca, what’s next for her and more.

On his departure: “I’m going back for a couple of episodes, so I’m very excited. I feel that Rebecca has run its course. The deal I was offered this year was for two years, and I felt like from the renegotiations were happening, it might be the right time to move on. ”

“I’ve been doing this for a long time, and other opportunities have presented I have not been able to do. I had an amazing four years in the program and I felt like maybe it was time. It was a big risk, but I am very excited about it. ”

Emily VanCamp will be missed, but it seems at peace with leaving Brothers & Sisters, which she called a mutual decision with the producers, rather than a case of being written.

In his (brief) return: “I’m definitely going back for 2-3 episodes at the beginning of the season. I’m very excited about the story. I talked with our executive producer, David Marshall Grant, and he came up with some lines the big story for next season. ”

On speculation that he was released due to budget limitations: “I would think it was a mutual agreement. I really do not make decisions based on [money] only. For me it was really a creative thing. I did a lot of consciousness. It is a big risk for me to take. ”

In the reactions of her co-stars: “I believe that each type knew what was happening with my character and the relationship between Justin and Rebecca. There was a lot of fighting [between them]. It was moving in a way that was productive and exciting. ”

“I think this will give Dave Annable [Justin] the opportunity to do some things different, it will be exciting for him. I do not think anyone disagrees with what I’m doing. I think that above all will be happy for me. It really is not an ego thing at all. ”

In the future: I’ve been doing television for a long time. I’d love to do some theater. I thought about returning to school. There are so many things going through my brain. I have 24 now, and I want to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone. ”

“Right now I’m working on a Hallmark movie right now called it shine. I’m playing a teacher, I always wanted to do.”
