Eu ReferendumEu Referendum, David Cameron spoke first, comparing the European financial crisis a “burning house” and insisting that Britain should help resolve the crisis on the continent.

“This is not the time to discuss away,” said the Prime Minister Conservative MPs demanding a referendum on EU membership britian.

The Prime Minister left the Commons after his statement, and not to attend the forthcoming discussions on the motion without first seeking portfolio popular vote in Britain’s place in Europe since 1975

That left William Hague, Secretary of Foreign Affairs to explain the Government’s opposition to a referendum and unhappy face recriminations Conservative backbenchers.

The resignation came when Adam Holloway, a former soldier, made it clear he was supporting the motion, and in the process of quitting smoking as an aid to David Lidington, the Minister for Europe.
