Trader Horn:For years now, the video store was the way to get movies. As technologies have advanced, downloading dvds off movie download sites is becoming very common. You can get virtually any movie you want with a good movie download site. Here are some examples.

Payday: Acerbic, vibrant picture of life on the concert trail with a cocky, selfish country and western music megastar, a jerk who calls on his supervisor to “fix” some complications that crop up during the concert tour. One of those prototypical early1970s films that makes modern American movie theater come across bland. Cast includes Rip Torn, Anna Capri, Cliff Emmich, and Michael C. Gwynne. (103 minutes,’73)

Delirious: An astonishingly foolish comedy with a nice premise. A beleaguered soap opera author gets a conk on the head and fantasizes that he’s living in his own story in a heroic role that allows him to have his way with the lady he worships in the real word. Cast includes John Candy, Mariel Hemingway, Emma Samms, David Rasche, Charles Rocket, Raymond Burr, and Dylan Baker. (96 minutes,’91)

Rhythm Thief: Immediately fascinating and arrogant ultra low cost picture of a distant although afflicted Andrews, who lives on N.Y.C.’s dirty Lower East Side and makes his keep by marketing tapes of illicitly copied music. The film is intriguing and seductive at times. It was filmed in 11 nights, for $ 11,000. Cast includes Jason Andrews, Eddie Daniels, Kevin Corrigan, Kimberly Flynn, Sean Hagerty, Mark Alfred, Christopher Cooke, and Bob McGrath. (99 minutes,’95)

Believe in Me: Donovan moves to a tiny Oklahoma town in’64 to take a teaching job, although when he arrives he learns he’s been assigned to coach the girls basketball team. See if “Rent Movie Online” gets you to a good download site. Different phrases get different results. If the last one did not work try something else. “Free Movies To Watch Online” would be worth a try.
