Disney Channel Shake It UpDisney Channel Shake It Up, Telecasts of Disney Channel, dance competition, “Make Your Mark:” Shake It Up “Edit”, plus large viewing audience – 4.2 million viewers on Friday (8:30 to 21:58 ) and 4 million on Sunday (8 :30-9: 00 pm).

Both burst and blocked transmissions as the # 1 broadcast television in their time periods among children 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 on both nights (2.0 million/8.3 rating and 2.2 on Friday Sunday million/8.8 rating among children aged 6-11 years, 1.6 million/6.5 qualifying on Friday and Sunday 1.8 million/7.6 rating among tweens 9-14).

A dance group from Arizona, AKsquared, won the contest, as determined by viewer votes. The group of four girls aged 10 to 14 will appear in an upcoming episode of “Shake It Up”.

Directed by “Make Your Mark” and a totally new “Jessie” had Disney Channel Home Friday, 12 broadcast television among Kids 6-11 and transmissions of the Top 21 among Tweens 9-14. In Total Viewers, Disney Channel delivered the Top 3 cable broadcasting script.

More than 30,000 were submitted dance videos online which results in more than 42 million video starts from the early summer of 2011.

The transmissions were received by Debby Ryan (“Jessie”), Roshon Fegan and R. Brandon Johnson (both of “Shake It Up”), with guest appearances by Bella Thorne and Zendaya (both “Shake It Up”) on Friday and Sunday and a musical performance by China Anne McClain (“Ant Farm”) on Sunday.

The judges were Selena Gomez (“Wizards of Waverly Place”), artist Sean Kingston and choreographer Rosero McCoy (“Shake It Up”). Special appearances were made by Nick Florez choreographers, Fatima Robinson, Gil Duldulao, Crafts Jamaica, Ivan and Marty Kudelka Koumaev. Presentations were videotaped by Janet Jackson, Katy Perry, Will.i.am, Ne-Yo, Joe Jonas and Jason Derulo.
