Desperate Housewives Cast

Desperate Housewives Cast, John Ridley, who won an Oscar for his adapted screenplay of “12 Years a Slave,” is now taking his talents to the small screen.

ABC has given a pilot green light to one of its newest fall series “American Crime.” The drama, written by Ridley and executive produced by ABC’s Michael McDonald tackles racial issues in California’s Central Valley.

According to Deadline, the series “centers on a racially charged murder and the subsequent trial, which are examined through the personal lives of the players involved. The case takes on greater meaning in the community, bringing to the forefront America’s hardened views on race, class and gender politics.”

“Desperate Housewives” star Felicity Huffman is making her return to television for this emotional drama. She plays the mother of one of the murder victims and seems to have a prejudice against the Latinos who she thinks are involved with the murder- or “illegals” as she calls them.

The cast also includes Penelope Ann Miller W. Earl Brown and Timothy Hutton who plays the distraught father and Huffman’s ex-husband .

The series, Ridley says, “examines and challenges our perceptions of race in America” and will be “very bold.” By the looks of the emotional trailer, we definitely agree.

Desperate Housewives

Desperate Housewives, Desperate Housewives has a reputation for dragging mysteries out across seasons, but in tonight’s episode a small secret that was raised in last week’s installment – who was the father of Julie’s baby? – was resolved almost immediately.

After being evicted from their apartment, Porter and Preston move home – only to overhear Susan confiding in Lynette about Julie’s pregnancy. Cue worried glances, followed by Julie asking to meet the father of her baby, followed by Susan overhearing the call and hiding in the cafe in proper spy mode, newspaper and all.
We soon discover that Porter is the daddy (which is weird enough, considering that – as Susan points out – Julie used to babysit him.) But this could work well for Susan, as Porter wants to raise the baby with or without Julie, meaning that she might not lose her grandchild after all.

Unfortunately, when she offers Porter support he asks her to tell Lynette about the baby… and Lynette has a full on, screaming, breathing-into-a-paper-bag reaction to it all. Susan can’t convince her this is a good idea, but Porter might – he movingly talks about loving his daughter before she’s even born, and it’s really touching.

Still, Julie’s furious with Susan – now whenever she comes home, Porter and her daughter will be there, adding to the pain of it all. Susan tells her she would never have been able to forget about her baby – she knows what it’s like being a mom – but as she reaches out to touch her Julie yells: “No” and vows never to forgive her mother for taking her choice away. For a moment I thought Julie would roll over and play along, so I’m glad she was defiant and angry.

Desperate Housewives Cast

Desperate Housewives Cast, Last night (Sunday), saw the season premiere of Desperate Housewives that aired on ABC and was a blockbuster of an episode with all the twists and turns we’ve come to expect from one of our favorite dramas . The new cast member, everyone seems to be speaking, Vanessa Williams, who previously participated in Ugly Betty.

Williams joins the regulars playing Renee Perry Wisteria Lane and according to the MicroMixx Carissa Williams spoke of how he has been welcomed by members of the cast, including Teri Hatcher, who will soon appear on Smallville, and Eva Longoria. It is certainly a smart move by Williams to join the series that has been running since 2004 and remains a great success winning several awards, including Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild.

The new season sees character Renee Perry Williams, a former college roommate of Lynette who comes to visit her on Wisteria Lane, according to KC representative on CNN. Renee Perry is the wife of wealthy baseball player Doug Perry, but everything is not, of course, it seems, part of the course on Wisteria Lane. After some disputes and Lynette Renee, Renee confesses that her husband goes and gets it and stay with Lynette.

Other developments in the series of Bree and Orson are moving towards other people, and Gaby Bree confesses that it was his son Andrew who ran over Carlos’ mother. Susan and Mike have moved into an apartment and Mike tells Susan he is considering going to work on an oil rig. Susan becomes determined to return to his rented house and take a new job. Probably the most dramatic turn when she came to her learning Carlos and Gaby, Juanita’s daughter is not really his, because of confusion in the hospital when she was born.

He is determined to keep Gaby knowledge for fear of breaking the heart for it and now here is another secret on Wisteria Lane! How about the season premiere last night and Vanessa Williams as a cast member again? We are interested in what he has to say about this so please send your comments.
