Indeed.com Jobs site recently submitted a list of 13 major companies that have the most job offers at the moment with jobs above 40k per year. Although it would be great news for average Americans, it is not always so easy for single parents trying to find jobs with flexible hours and great benefits.

Jayne PetersJayne Peters:(Fox News) — URGENT: The mayor of a Dallas suburb committed suicide and killed her daughter for 19 years of age in the head in a horrific murder-suicide stunned friends and neighbors in the quiet suburb of Coppell, Texas

The medical examiner’s office in Dallas County ruled Wednesday that 55-year-old Jayne Peters shot herself in the head after killing his daughter Corinne, who had just graduated from Coppell High School and went to the University of Texas at Austin in the fall.

Police discovered the body of the mother and daughter on Tuesday night after the mayor did not attend a meeting of the city.

Police officers went to his home after the mayor usually fail to cause a meeting of city council and did not call to explain his absence, said spokeswoman Sharon Logan.

In the late morning of Wednesday, a small collection of flowers, wreaths and cards decorated the porch of the house of Peters. A printed letter said: “Please know that they are loved, no matter what happens. I know God is with you and giving you comfort. The two are with Don, a wonderful husband and a father. A family again. ”

Mayor’s husband, Donald Peters, died in 2008 at the age of 58.

Jayne Peters was a contract software developer who had served as mayor of Coppell, a city of about 40,000 located 15 miles northwest of Dallas, during the past year. Its mandate was to expire in 2012. It had been a board member since 1998.

“This is a tremendous loss for the city, the community and the region,” said City Manager Clay Phillips.

The biggest Peters attended the University of Miami in Ohio. In his official biography on the website of the city, she said, “Coppell is a community with a big heart, and we take care of others.”

Corinne Peters graduated from Coppell High School this year. His Facebook page shows a smiling girl in a white top and details of their interests in film and television comedies.

“Corinne was an outstanding student and talented dancer with a big heart,” said Jessica Doty, spokesman for the Coppell school district. Jayne Peters Doty called voluntary “special school.”

“She was the most enjoyable for everyone,” Sterling said Von Stroh. “Her mom was so sweet.”

Corinne Peters and his mother lived alone in his brick house 3850 meters square with spa and swimming pool.

Police found Coppell Mayor Jayne Peters, 55, and Corrine Peters, 19, both shot in the head after council members worried the mayor did not attend a meeting.

Police officers found no evidence of forced entry.

“At this point, all I can really say is that the investigation is incomplete,” Logan said the newspaper. “There are lots of things we have to look at.”

Peters had been mayor of Coppell – a city with a population of about 40,000 just 15 miles northwest of Dallas – since 2009. She also served on the city council for over a decade and was a software developer contract.

Peters and his daughter, who graduated high school in May, were active in their community and church.

Peters’ husband died of cancer in 2008.
