Dashera Sms, Dussehra is a Hindu festival celebrated as a symbol of victory over evil with good. It is a sign of evil, even regardless of strong and intelligent ultimately be defeated by good.

The epics narrate this event as the day Lord Rama killed Ravana in a battle for many days to sacrifice thousands of lives on both sides. Rama was accompanied by his brother Lakshmana, Hanuman Sugreev, and younger brother of Ravana Vibhishan.

It all started with Rama and his brother Lakshmana and Sita, the wife left Ayodhya to stay in the jungle for 14 years to fulfill his father Dasrath promise to Rama’s stepmother.

In his visits to various places in different regions, his beautiful wife is by Ravana. Ravana, though he was very intelligent and brave, but intended to be killed by Rama, Sita was attracted. Rama and Lakshmana moves away from Sita by unfair means and Sita takes her to his kingdom in Lanka.

Rama gets to know the whereabouts of Sita and reaches Lanka to recover from Ravana, who refused to go without a fight. The battle continued for several days and finally kills Ravana Rama Sita take back with him to Ayodhya.

Dussehra is the day when Ravana was killed by Rama indicating that all evil thoughts and actions in this type of purpose.

Each year the construction of large-size effigies of Ravana, Meghnad and Kumbhkaran, fill them with cookies and burn them to celebrate Dussehra. But what we in the present, except spending a lot of money.

Let’s celebrate Dussehra in a different way this year by the burning of Ravana who live within us and what Rama always win. If each of us is able to do this, you definitely have lived and celebrated Dussehra in a real way.

Dasara 2010, The whole country celebrated the traditional holidays and important for ‘Vijayadashmi’ or ‘Dasara. October 17 is the tenth day of Durga Puja and Dasara is the closing ceremony of it, which symbolizes the victory of good over evil.

The Dasara day is dedicated to Lord Rama that symbolizes his victory over rAAV, on this day, the entire nation celebrated the festival with great fervor and spirit.

Each part of the country celebrates the festival in its own way, but the basis remains the same as is the victory of good over evil. Vijayadashami Dussehra is celebrated as marking the end of the fifth day long Durga Puja. But the celebration in Mysore is the largest of all places.

After 2 weeks, the holy festival of Diwali is celebrated, is the day when Lord Rama came back to Ayodhya after 14 years and people lit diyas and flowers showered on him. Like every year, the festival is celebrated with much more dedication and enthusiasm.

Dasara Festival, The city of palaces, Mysore is preparing for the famous giant Savari the final Sunday of the festival of Navaratri ten days.

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa flagged famous four kilometer procession after performing the puja ‘Nandidwaja in front of the Palace of Mysore. Later, also the flag of the procession inside the premises of the Palace.

The state government offered to goddess worship Chamundewari, whose idol is placed in the 750 kg “howdah ‘gold to be carried by the elephant Balarama 51 years at the end of the procession, which was also broadcast live.

Mysore district in charge minister UNI SA Ramadas said the 400 th anniversary celebration on this occasion was also significant as it marks the 125th anniversary of the birth of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar and 100 years old Palace.

The procession began with a 21 gun salute by the police personnel. There will be over 100 units in the procession for the first time, including 32 paintings in the history of the royal family for centuries and various contingents of the police and the folk.

After the procession of the festivities will conclude with a parade of the torch light in Bannimantapa in which the governor of Karnataka HR Bhardwaj receive the Honor Guard in the presence of the Prime Minister, other ministers and guests.

Meanwhile, there is a large influx of tourists, including a number of forigners this year to witness the festivities. According to officials so far, more than two million people had visited the city and witness the diverse cultural programs.
