The Opie And Anthony Show, The veteran comedian, actor and radio host Patrice O’Neal suffered a stroke, according to other comedians Jim Norton, announced on Wednesday the “Opie and Anthony Show”.

“We do not know how,” said Norton. “We do not know how it will be. … I do not want to do this for myself. I like to have more news for you.”

A statement announcing the condition of the 41-year-old comic was also published on page Opie and Anthony on Facebook.

It reads: “Our good friend Patrice O’Neal suffered a stroke last week please respect his family and his request for an e-mail privacy has been created for fans to send good wishes and your family will ensure that the gets them … You can write to LoveForPatrice@gmail.com. When we have an update on his condition, we will let everyone know. “On the site, fans can send the comedian and desires.

The comedian began his comedy career in Boston, Massachusetts. His first television appearance was in “The Comedy Hour Apollo,” where he murdered the crowd with his little Malcolm XXL. The comedian made his “Def Comedy Jam” debut in 2007 and has appeared on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “The Late Show with David Letterman”

Over time, was going to happen to appearances on shows like “Showtime at the Apollo”, “Friday Night Videos”, “Yes Dear”, “Arrested Development”, “Chappelle Show” and “The Office.”

Asked those who aspire, O’Neal stated in his MySpace page just two names: George Carlin and Richard Pryor. Carlin for his distinct point of view and universal appeal; Pryor for his honesty, vulnerability and personal revelation.

O’Neal was last seen at national level during Charlie Sheen roast on Comedy Central in September.

Sheen told TMZ that O’Neal is looking forward to “nothing more than recovery.” In a statement, Sheen said: “[Patrice] is a gentle giant, a brilliant comedian and a noble kind. Wishing you nothing but the recovery, healing and laughter.”

O’Neal’s Facebook page shows who lives in New Jersey with his family. Property records show that the comic has a property in Hudson County.
