Dogfish, Site of Dogfish Head, sad news of the latest batch of Dogfish 120 minutes early Director of the API.

In regard to the latest batch of 120 minutes from the API, I regret to say that dozens of passionate people at Dogfish voted out by millions of yeast cells and this set will not be released. This lot was under a bit subdued, but I dinged in our taste panel for flavor dislocated.

Each and every batch of beer at Dogfish Head brew passes more than 40 points of quality assurance control and while this set past many of these control points we decided with the final results of the sensory panel, days before packing, do not feel this set of 120 minutes from the API is up to par.

We know that 120 minutes is sold at a higher price and we know that expectations for this beer, and must be high. It is made with more than 30 times the volume of hops and more than seven times the volume of malt per barrel of light lager in their midst. It is aged for more than five times the average beer. So this is a very expensive beer to make. And a very expensive beer to lose.

That said, we are more interested in preserving our long-term reputation for quality that we pacify the short term with the frustrations do not get this set out a specific timeline. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope you understand and support our decision.

We are confident that we will have a great batch of API 120 minutes before the end of the year.
