Courteney Cox, Courteney Cox may become a “cougar” in future. The 47-year-old actress has starred in three series of ‘Cougar Town’ – which follows the exploits of a divorced woman who dates much younger men – and as she is already attracted to guys who are not in her age range, she hasn’t ruled out becoming more like her character Jules Cobb.

Courteney – who split from husband David Arquette, 40, last year – said: “It depends on your definition of cougar [whether I am one]. I was married for all of those years to a man seven years younger than me so obviously I’m attracted to younger men.

“I’ not being a cougar right now, but we’ll see what my future holds.”

Courteney and David have a seven-year-old daughter Coco and the actress is pleased with how well the youngster has coped with her parents’ split.

She told Britain’s S-EX-LLO! magazine: “She’s dealing with it very well indeed, although she has a lot of questions about what’s going on.

“We have a long drive from our home on the beach to her school – it’s a good 45 or 50 minutes – and that’s a time we use to talk about all sorts of things, like friendships, love and what she’s going through with David and myself. I think communication is key here and I try to keep the channels open.”
