Mysterious Object Fell Sky

Mysterious Object Fell Sky, Reportedly, a mystery object (UFO) fell from the sky over a Connecticut. However after news of the sighting by a civilian and state trooper, a search party was not able to find the “thing.” Is it part of a Friday the 13th superstition?

Citing a 4/12/12 report from the Miami Herald, an unnamed person made an emergency call and reported seeing something strange in the sky.

While driving in Litchfield, Connecticut, at approximately 2 a.m., the witness observed seeing a rather large and glowing object (about the size of a whale). Moments later, the mysterious object fell from the sky and crashed into Bantam Lake in the area.

Additionally, the report says that when the first call of a UFO sighting came in, news of another large object flying through the sky was reported by a state trooper in Warren, about 10 miles away from Litchfield.

Strangely, firefighters called to the scene reported not finding any evidence of a huge and glowing mystery object that had fallen from the night sky. Initially, they searched for signs of a plane crash, to no avail.

Joe Lieberman’s Wife

March 8, 2012 by · Comments Off on Joe Lieberman’s Wife

Joe Lieberman’s Wife, The wife of Senator Joe Lieberman—whom the Times dubs a “master infuriator” for his recent threat to join a Republican filibuster unless Democrats drop a plan to let uninsured Americans under 55 purchase coverage under Medicare—is in the cross hairs. Liberal activists led by the blog Firedoglake are calling upon the Susan B. Komen Foundation to fire Hadassah Lieberman, who works as a paid international spokesperson for the breast-cancer research group.

Firedoglake’s Jane Hamsher, herself a breast cancer survivor, is demanding that “no more money raised for cancer treatment be given to Hadassah Lieberman or any other ex-Pharma/Insurance strategists… For decades, [she] has worked for the insurance-pharmaceutical-lobbying complex. Like Newt Gingrich, Dick Gephard and Tom Daschle she never registered as a lobbyist to avoid the official taint, but nonetheless worked at the powerhouse lobbying shops Hill & Knowlton and APCO. She also did stints at Pfizer and Hoffman-La Roche.”

As the White House meets with Democratic Senators today in an attempt to close ranks on a health care bill, MoveOn.org is holding a rally outside the White House to call on President Obama to “stand up” to Senator Lieberman “and fight for health care reform with a public option.” Lieberman, who has received more than $1 million in insurance company campaign contributions since 1998, surprised Democrats Sunday by saying that expanding Medicare would be “extremely expensive.” But Lieberman was for the Medicare buy-in before he was against it, as as this video shows.

But what Joseph wants, Joseph gets; yesterday White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel met with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to order him to cut a deal with Lieberman. According to one of Reid’s aides, “It was all about ‘do what you’ve got to do to get it done. Drop whatever you’ve got to drop to get it done.” The White House wants the bill passed by Christmas, and they’ve given up on the public option and on expanding Medicare to get Lieberman’s vote, making liberals apoplectic. “If you think you are sick of Joe Lieberman now,” Jim Shea, a columnist in The Hartford Courant, wrote Monday, “just wait until you get sick.”

George Hw Bush

George Hw Bush, George Herbert Walker Bush (born June 12, 1924) is an American politician who served as the 41st President of the United States (1989-93). He had previously served as the 43rd Vice President of the United States (1981-89), a congressman, an ambassador, and Director of Central Intelligence.

Bush was born in Milton, Massachusetts, to Senator Prescott Bush and Dorothy Walker Bush. Following the attacks on Pearl Harbor in 1941, at the age of 18, Bush postponed going to college and became the youngest aviator in the US Navy at the time. He served until the end of the war, then attended Yale University. Graduating in 1948, he moved his family to West Texas and entered the oil business, becoming a millionaire by the age of 40.

He became involved in politics soon after founding his own oil company, serving as a member of the House of Representatives, among other positions. He ran unsuccessfully for president of the United States in 1980, but was chosen by party nominee Ronald Reagan to be the vice presidential nominee, and the two were subsequently elected. During his tenure, Bush headed administration task forces on deregulation and fighting drug abuse.

In 1988, Bush launched a successful campaign to succeed Reagan as president, defeating Democratic opponent Michael Dukakis. Foreign policy drove the Bush presidency; military operations were conducted in Panama and the Persian Gulf at a time of world change; the Berlin Wall fell in 1989 and the Soviet Union dissolved two years later. Domestically, Bush reneged on a 1988 campaign promise and after a struggle with Congress, signed an increase in taxes that Congress had passed. In the wake of economic concerns, he lost the 1992 presidential election to Democrat Bill Clinton.

Bush is the father of George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States, and Jeb Bush, former Governor of Florida. He is the most recent president to have been a World War II veteran. Until the election of his son George W. Bush to the presidency in 2000, Bush was commonly referred to simply as “George Bush”; since that time, the forms “George H. W. Bush”, “Bush 41”, “Bush the Elder”, and “George Bush, Sr.” have come into common use as a way to distinguish the father from the son.

43rd President, George W. Bush is the 43rd President of the United States. Formerly the 46th Governor of the state of Texas, Bush has earned a reputation as a compassionate conservative who shapes policy based on the principles of limited government, personal responsibility, strong families, and local control.

George W. Bush was born July 6, 1946, and grew up in Midland and Houston, Texas. He received a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He served as an F-102 pilot for the Texas Air National Guard before beginning his career in the oil and gas business in Midland in 1975, working in the energy industry until 1986. After working on his father’s successful 1988 presidential campaign, he assembled the group of partners that purchased the Texas Rangers baseball franchise in 1989.

He served as managing general partner of the Texas Rangers until he was elected Governor on November 8, 1994. In an historic re-election victory, he became the first Texas Governor to be elected to consecutive four-year terms on November 3, 1998.

Connecticut Power Plant Explosion,Middletown ct Power Plant | UssPost:A gas-fired power plant on the River Road in Middletown exploded earlier today resulting in at least two deaths.
Four people pulled from the rubble also have life-threatening injuries and a source at the scene said the death toll will rise.
It’s not sure how many other people have been injured, but officials said there were “mass casualties.”
Some of the injured were treated at the scene. It’s not known how many, if any, were taken to hospitals, although the state’s mass casualty plan was put into effect and hospitals, including St. Raphael’s in New Haven and Yale-New Haven, were told to clear beds for any injured.
State police are at the plant with search and rescue dogs, but it appears it has turned from a search and rescue mission to a recovery operation, according to a source at the scene.
First reports were that about 100 people were inside the building at the time of the explosion, but a number of employees did leave around 6:30 a.m. after finishing the night shift. It’s estimated that about 60 people were still inside the building when the blast occurred around l1:30 a.m. It’s not known how many made it out.
At least 30 ambulances responded to the scene, as well as the two Lifestar helicopters.
A witness said the explosion caused a “massive ball of fire 40 to 50 feet into the air.”
Gov. M. Jodi Rell activated the Emergency Operations Center in Hartford and is being staffed by: the state Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (DEMHS), Department of Public Health (DPH), the National Guard and the State Police. DPH is providing tents at the scene for shelter and medical triage.
Rell is on her way to the scene.
Windows in nearby homes were blown out by the blast.
People living miles away from the plant, some in Meriden and Wallingford, reported they felt the earth shake as a result of the explosion.
One Guilford resident said it felt like a “mild earthquake” and called police, who said it was due to the power plant explosion, 16 miles away.
