Koat, KOAT reported few weather alerts for upcoming winter weather advisory in effect from noon today to 6 pm Wednesday MST,
The NWS in Grand Junction has issued a winter snow, which is in effect from noon today to 6 hours MST Wednesday.
Accumulation of snow, storm total accumulation range of 2 to 5 inches with locally higher amounts in the foothills.
Winds, southeast winds west 5 to 10 mph, moving northwest this afternoon.

Visibility will be reduced to less than 1 mile in moderate snow showers.
Impacts, snowfall will mean roads of ice and compacted snow.
Precautions preparation /
A winter advisory means that periods of snow and / or blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility, and be careful when driving.

Wind chill warning remains in effect until 8 am Wednesday MST, winter weather advisory is canceled.

Temperatures, a mass of very cold air will push into extreme western Texas and southern New Mexico beginning this morning extended westward across the Rio Grande Valley afternoon. Dangerously cold temperatures with low in the morning of 7-15 degrees and daytime highs warming only in adolescence and 20s. The combination of gusty winds and cold air can push wind chills as low as 10 below zero.
Timing, showers and light snow is possible today. Periods of heavy snowfall over night through Wednesday night.
