Code TalkersCode Talkers, On August 14, 1982, President Ronald Reagan recognized a group of about 400 members of the Native American forces to use their tongues to deceive the Japanese forces during World War II.

They were called “code talkers,” Navajo service members who use their mother tongue to keep U.S. military communications can be intercepted and deciphered by enemy Japanese forces during World War II.
