Father Of Internet, The world is rapidly running out of internet addresses. At an event this week, the available addresses in IPv4 were likely to be affected by spring of next year and missed by the summer.

This means adoption of IPv6 is mandatory and Vint Cerf, one of the key engineers in the invention of the internet and now vice president of Google, has joined the campaign to get people on board.

However, this week, he not only the campaign but offered a formal opinion of the Government on how to stimulate the adoption, perhaps by the form of tax credits. The key, he said, was “incentives to companies” offer to get companies on board.
