Christopher Columbus Facts, In 1492, Christopher Columbus sailed ColumbusChristopher navy and the same year he first set foot on American soil. Everyone knows these facts and some more about Christopher Columbus and his discovery of America. However, little is known about the actual discoverer. Some interesting facts about the man himself is reflected in this piece of writing.
