Uma Thurman, (AP) – Uma Thurman Stalker asked a judge Wednesday to deal with new charges that he ignored a court order by trying to communicate with the actress again, and his lawyer said the case had been exaggerated.

Sam Roberts said lawyer Jack Jordan should not be facing charges of criminal contempt offense because he is not accused of threatening the “Kill Bill” star – just try to talk to him and lamenting his relationship with a Swiss financier. Jordan has pleaded not guilty to charges of contempt crime and various crimes, including harassment.

State Supreme Court Justice Gregory Carro weighs the arguments and decide on February 23. In the meantime, Jordan, a former psychiatric patient, remains in prison to $ 500,000 $ 250,000 bond or cash deposit, which Roberts called unreasonably high.

“Ms. Thurman is not a vulnerable victim, especially in light of the fact that no threats were made,” said Roberts, claiming the Oscar nominated actress has assistants to restrict access to it.

Prosecutors countered that staff Thurman and his status should have no bearing on the legal protections afforded him.

“She was harassed by the accused, who is severely mentally ill for six years,” said Michelle Kaminsky; a lawyer from Brooklyn assistant district is handling the case before a court in Manhattan.

Jordan was convicted in 2008 of harassment and harassment of “Pulp Fiction” actress. He was sentenced to three years probation and told not to try to contact Thurman for five years.

Thurman told jurors during his trial that she was “completely freaked out” by his behavior. He called his family and his employees tried to get into her trailer on a movie set, showed up at his home Manhattan late at night and sent letters with pictures creepy – like a picture of a bride, her head torn off – and such messages as “my hands should be on your body at all times”, according to testimony.

Jordan, 39, testified that he had developed a crush on Thurman in high school after seeing the 1988 film “The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.” He said he was involuntarily committed to a psychiatric hospital in 2005 after being questioned about his obsession with Thurman.

After his conviction, Jordan said he realized he had “overstepped” the legal boundaries in its quest to find Thurman.

Although he was ordered not to try to contact Thurman, authorities say he did this fall.

They said he called his office on October 29 and the mobile phone of his assistant on October 30, asking to speak to the actress, adding that the boyfriend Arpad “Arki” Busson “does not belong with “it, according to a report of the allegations in court documents filed Roberts Wednesday. There is no evidence Jordan Thurman spoke, newspapers.

Jordan was arrested in November at his family home in North Potomac, Maryland, where police said they found him sitting in front of a computer with the name Thurman in a Google search box.

He told police the calls were a drunken mistake, prosecutors said.

The charges against Jordan lead causing “reasonable apprehension of physical injury.” Roberts argued that at least these charges should be dismissed, saying there is no allegation that Jordan “expressed no hostility, and even less that he threatened physical violence.”

Thurman spokesman said she will not comment on the case is before the judge who presided over the trial of Jordan, but is pursued by the district attorney’s office in Brooklyn, because Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance the former law firm represented the actress.

When the arsonist Greenwood went to his madness burned in 2009, one of the companies it was razed neighborhood Pho Tic Tac.

But the owner of Loan Nguyen, for his Vietnamese noodle shop blowing ash clouds as’ Uma Thurman”chaîne smoking in Pulp Fiction was not as devastating as it could have been. In fact, Nguyen feel more fortunate than other business owners on the block: Five months before the fire, she opened a second Pho Tic Tac on Aurora Avenue when she said that its building lease would not be renewed.

Although there is no shortage of pho restaurants around town, Pho Tic Tac has a herd of loyal customers who migrate north to Aurora to Greenwood when they want their fix of noodles. It is no surprise why: bowls of pho came from the kitchen very hot with lots of meat stacked on a bed of rice noodles, all swimming in a savory broth that will make you say true love. And unlike many pho houses Seattle Pho Tic Tac has a vegetarian pho generously packed with carrots, broccoli, cabbage, celery, and that could make even the most demanding of encouraging herbivores. The pho comes with the standard rate pho restaurant: Combine in a small number of seeds or sliced jalapenos to add texture or taste, or a wolf by Creampuff for dessert before dinner.

Even on a dark night weekday, the decor attractive Pho Tic Tac has a handful of customers to record their tables. Walls painted pumpkins, decorated with simple paintings unimpressive, greet guests as they slurp down the noodles.

Although the original Pho Tic Tac could be lost, Nguyen second location is a tasty reminder of the resilience flame pho restaurant and perfected.
