Chris Brown Pleads Guilty

Chris Brown Pleads Guilty, The Chops & Hops restaurant in Watkinsville removed a celebrity “black and bleu” sandwich from its menu this weekend after owners suggested it was inspired by singer Chris Brown’s physical assault against former girlfriend Rihanna.
In response to Twitter postings that found the promotion in poor taste, the Oconee County restaurant also apologized and promised to give proceeds from the sandwich’s sales to a local domestic violence prevention group.

In promoting the sandwich Chops & Hops tweeted that “@chrisbrown, @rihanna and us teamed up for a award winning celebrity sandwich.”

“Chris Brown won’t beat you up for eating this unless your name starts with a R and ends with A,” the tweet said.

The “black and bleu” sandwich featured Caribbean spiced marinated sliced ribeye blackened, bleu cheese, sliced tomato, silver Lamborghini onions and shredded Romaine.

A manager at the restaurant Saturday referred calls to Chop & Hops’ owners. A message left for one of the owners was not immediately returned.

Brown was arrested after attacking Rihanna in his vehicle in Los Angeles on the eve of the 2009 Grammys. He pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to community service. The top superstars have since reconciled and Brown appears on a remix of Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” hit song.

An image of her injuries at the time showed Rihanna bleeding around her lips, welts on her forehead and marks on her cheek. Brown is still on probation for the assault.

“The owners of C&H would like to make sure everyone knows that we and our staff DO NOT SUPPORT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE,” the owners said in a Saturday tweet. “Many of us have been affected by domestic violence in some manner and realize that this is no joke.”

Rihanna Ryan Seacrest Chris Brown Audio

Rihanna Ryan Seacrest Chris Brown Audio, Rihanna has commented on her collaboration with Chris Brown while calling into On Air With Ryan Seacrest. On collaborating with Chris Brown: “The first song that came about was ‘Birthday Cake.’ I mean we ended up recording them at the same time and executing them together, but I reached out to him about doing ‘Birthday Cake’ because that’s the only person that really–it made sense to do the record. Just as a musician despite everything else that was going to be the person.

You know I thought about rappers, and I’ve done that so many times, and the hottest R&B artist out right now is Chris Brown. So I wanted him on the track, and then in turn he was like ‘Why don’t you do the remix to my track?’ and it was a trade off. We did two records. One for my fans. One for his fans, and that way our fans can come together. There shouldn’t be a divide. You know? It’s music, and it’s innocent.”

On where her music is going next: “I can’t say that! ‘Sonically’ — I can’t explain it. But I’m excited about it. I have the sound already. So it’s just a matter of execution!”

On what she’s focusing on right now: “Right now, I’m doing a bunch of meetings, little things here and there. Some video, some photoshoots. No touring this year. I won’t go on tour until next year. Though this year were doing movies, and still making music, and music videos. I’m really prepping for the next year.”

On creating her own fashion line: “A small collection that I do for Armani. It’s a collaboration, and it’s like 7-10 pieces. Apparel and accessories and we’ve done the fall collection already, and it was very, very successful and now the spring collection is about to drop. After that I’m really pursuing a fashion line of my own. I want to design. This is also a road that I want to earn it. So I’m working with designers. Designers that I respect, and [fashion] companies that I respect. I want people to really trust me before I just say ‘Buy it, because it’s mine.'”
