Julianne Hough, It is the night of rock and roll here on Dancing With the Stars, which means rock, tangos and themes of steps and a dance marathon.

But first, let’s get a list of 10 favorite dances, chosen by viewers. What means this should be totally up to an hour or an hour and a half. But instead of filling: No. 10 favorite dance, freestyle Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas’ season 8. No. 9: Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson Argentine tango Season 9. No. 8: Step Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough Zoot Suit quick season 5. No. 7: Apolo Ohno and Julianne Hough Freestyle season 4. No. 6: Season 9, futuristic step Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough. No. 5: Mel B and Maksim Chmerkovskiy step twice Season 5. No. 4: Nicole Scherzinger and 1950 Derek Hough style double step. No. 3: Apolo Ohno and Julianne Hough Samba Season 4, the first for the season 30/30. No. 2: Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke Season 8 tango. 1: Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke Freestyle season 2 of “Save a horse, ride a cowboy”, which is probably my favorite, or at least most memorable performance of the series, too.

Well, with the show. First, Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani with the paso doble. Afraid that she is very sweet and healthy, so that leads to the formation of MMA to find some aggression. In the year (“Another One Bites the Dust”), who is channeling his aggression by duckface, but they are clearly having fun with it. I thought it was one of the strongest dance, except that his arms looked a little off to me. Head judge Len Goodman says he has the potential to blow all week, but still lacks some character, and he does this week as well. Bruno Tonioli says he imagines “the Spanish beauty devourer of men” to get there, because instead looked contemptuous. Carrie Ann Inaba says he agrees, but she has shown to improve long as a week. She says she has to figure out the intent of each movement. Scores: 8-8-8, for 24/30.

Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer rock hope their tango foxtrot is going better than his club. They dance to “If I Had You.” (Is Adam Lambert rock and roll I suppose in this song it is. And at least Kyle and Lacey knows who he is.) Kyle has been working very hard on his body and footwork, and it shows. The audience goes CUH-razy. Bruno says it’s obvious he has put in a lot of work, although it says a little bobble. Carrie Ann says he does all his own, and had a great car throughout the dance. Len says it was much better, and enjoyed their dance in terms of results, although it still has to improve his technique. Scores: 8-7-8, for 23/30.

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough bring your energy accumulated in the last week twice this night of rock step (a Pink “So What” – which extends the definition of this night of rock). It is having a very good night, but stumbles in the final, and spoils the time of its completion. Carrie Ann says she needs to calm down – she says has become disjointed and going downhill. “It was a difficult, hard!” Len says he had the attack, aggression and attitude, but for the joy, he lost some control. Bruno says she was like a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown trying to rip off her skirt. Scores: 6-7-7, for 20/30.

Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke are doing the tango, and Rick is the first time in the ballroom hold since the first week. He wants to break the steps down in minutae, Cheryl wants to flow, and they’re having trouble doing these two things work. They dance to “You Really Got Me” (the version of Van Halen), and aggression is also out as duckface. But dancing, however. Len thought he did an excellent job with a difficult dance. Bruno says it was “like a Mohican at war.” He would have liked a little more light and shade. Carrie Ann thought he did an amazing job balancing everything, but does the face a little. Scores: 8-8-8, for 24/30.

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas hope the company recover from mono last week. She advocates a section of air guitar during his tango so you can show more personality. They dance to “Under You”, another pop song that happens to have guitars. I’m not sure the air guitar as I wanted out – she seemed really excited for the rest of the show, and then there was that time a little silly. It was a little disjointed. But she remembered her footsteps. Bruno says this was his best performance and technology to date. Carrie Ann says it was “ridiculously awesome”, “Who are you?” Len said that came from chimpanzees to “almost a champion.” He is dropping a point to keep them down for a moment. Scores: 8-7-8, for 23/30.

Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya struggle with the combination of Kurt inexistent pasodoble balancing side. Bret Michaels is giving a talk, and Kurt finds his inner rocker looks like Bret Michaels. Dance with “The Final Countdown” and show a lot of energy in a passion, but some of them seem a bit out of me, a little bit out of control. Carrie Ann thought it was very sloppy and unpolished, but he felt uncomfortable. Len says he sees what Anna was trying to do, but it was hard. Bruno says he worked very hard, but it seemed he was doing karate, and lines were out. Scores: 6-6-6, for 18/30.

Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy want to keep first place he got last week, and is putting much pressure on herself. His song is “Holding Out for Hero,” and that seem to combine the strength and better technique than most of the couples so far tonight. Brandy is affected in the end, but I can not understand why. Len says Maks is his hero and that this was the prom night. Bruno says the tango really shook and Brandy compares with Tina Turner in “Mad Max”. Carrie Ann said she had goose bumps watching them develop their wings and fly. But he did see some errors, but overall he was impressed. Scores: 8-9-9, for 26/30, the highest score of the night.

Now is the time of the dance marathon. Kurt and Anna are, first, getting 4 points. Bristol and Mark are next, get 5. Next out are Rick and Cheryl, getting 6 points. This leaves four couples, who now have free rein on stage. Kyle and Lacey are out, getting 7 points. Audrina and Tony are next with 8 points. This leaves Jennifer and Derek and Brandy and Maks. Jennifer and Derek get 9 points, and Brandy and Maks are the champions of the dance marathon even more impressive, as were the last to act, too, and yet I have no recovery time.

What do you think of the events of the night?
