Charlie Sheen Ashton Kutcher, CHARLIE Sheen has apologised for saying he thinks Ashton Kutcher “sucks” as his replacement on Two and a Half Men.

Sheen – who was axed from the series last year after one too many angry outbursts about the show’s boss, Chuck Lorre – criticised Kutcher and the show last week.

“I’m tired of lying … I’m tired of pretending the show doesn’t suck … I’m tired of pretending Ashton doesn’t suck,” he told TMZ. “It’s nothing personal … I just feel bad for him … he’s saddled with such bad writing.”

Now the 46-year-old troubled star has drafted a letter to Kutcher, 34, saying he was sorry for his scathing comments.

“Dear Ashton, My bad,” the letter, obtained by TMZ, read. “I was disrespectful to a man doing his best. I got excited and I threw you into the crossfire, but the rest of my statement I stand behind. You however, deserve better. Safety in your travels good sir.”

Charlie Sheen Ashton, You know it’s time to re-evaluate your entire life when you find yourself agreeing with something Charlie Sheen says. But that’s exactly the situation we’re stuck in after Sheen called in to TMZ Live yesterday and said, “I’m tired of pretending Ashton (Kutcher) doesn’t suck.”

Up until now, the 46-year-old actor has been publicly supportive of Two and a Half Men, the CBS sitcom he was fired from following his crazypants public meltdown. Then on Wednesday, lawyers for Warner Bros. television studio sent a cease-and-desist letter to Sheen, demanding he stop using Two and a Half Men photos to promote his upcoming new FX show, Anger Management. That got his tiger blood boiling and now, the gloves are off.

In response to the cease-and-desist letter, Sheen told TMZ on Wednesday, “I’m thrilled. It insulates me from having to redundantly see myself in the idiotic bowling shirt. Perhaps if Warner Bros. spent as much time and energy focusing on TS-EX-IR show, it wouldn’t be such a steaming pile of ass.”

On yesterday’s TMZ Live, Sheen continued to rant against Two and a Half Men, saying, “I’m tired of lying, I’m tired of pretending the show doesn’t suck, I’m tired of pretending Ashton doesn’t suck.”

Continuing his torpedo of truth, Sheen added, “When you take away the anchor from your show, which they stupidly did, you go adrift and these guys are approaching, like, salvage vessel.”

When it comes to Kutcher, Sheen said that “it’s nothing personal, ” adding, “I just feel bad for him. He’s saddled with such bad writing…There’s just nothing about it that’s fresh or interesting. I forget that it’s on the air. It’s kind of like leaving your child with somebody and them not taking very good care of it.”

Previously, Sheen has praised Kutcher’s Two and a Half Men performance. At the Television Critics Association event in January, he told the New York Post, “I’ve done what he’s done. I’ve replaced a guy [Michael J. Fox on ‘Spin City’]. It’s so f***ing hard, you can’t believe it. It’s all you’re thinking about, and you’re surrounded by these ghosts. So, hats off to him for doing the best job that he can.”
