Semih Erden, (CP) – The Cleveland Cavaliers have acquired rookie forward Luke Harangody and rookie center Semih Erden in a trade with the Boston Celtics. Shortly before the deadline of Thursday, the Cavaliers sent Boston a second-round pick in 2013 for the Celtics in exchange for the players. Cleveland acquired the selection last summer from Minnesota in the deal for the service of Delonte West.

The Cavaliers were interested Erden, a seven-footer from Turkey for a while. He has averaged .1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 37 games.

Harangody, who played at Notre Dame, averaged 2.3 points and .0 rebounds in 28 games. He led the Big East in scoring and rebounding last year.

Jeff Green, Sources told ESPN that the Celts Thunder Jeff Green, just before Thursday trade deadline 3 pm ET, the Boston Celtics agreed to ship center Kendrick Perkins and guard Nate Robinson Oklahoma City Thunder to the forward Jeff Green and big man Nenad Krstic, two league sources said. Neither team was done, though. The Celtics also traded center Semih Erden and rookie forward Luke Harangody to the Cleveland Cavaliers for a proposed second round.
While the Celtics big men were unloading the Thunder acquired another, sending Morris Peterson and DJ White in Charlotte for center Nazr Mohammed, told ESPN The Magazine Ric Bucher. The Celtics have agreed to trade center Kendrick Perkins from the backup point guard and Nate Robinson for the Thunder forward Jeff Green and center Nenad Krstic, SI.com has confirmed. The Boston Globe reported that Boston would also receive the Clippers’ lottery-protected first-round pick from Oklahoma City.

In a second trade, the Celtics are sending backup center Semih Erden and freshman Luke Harangody rarely used in Cleveland for a second round pick. The Thunder have made a second time, too, the acquisition of another 7-foot, Nazr Mohammed, Charlotte. The Bobcats will Mo Peterson and D. J. White.

With just two offers before Thursday 3 pm EST trade deadline, the Celtics have fought two of their four centers and has licensed two spots file. Boston two other centers, Shaquille O’Neal and Jermaine O’Neal, are both injured. Perkins injured his left knee in the “Celtics’ victory over the Warriors on Tuesday and is expected to miss at least a week, according to Boston president Danny Ainge. Perkins injured his right knee in Game 6 of the NBA finals last season and missed the first 43 games this season after undergoing ACL surgery. Since his return he has averaged .3 points and 8.1 rebounds. He is paid and $ .6 million in the last year of his contract.

Oklahoma City traded a second entrance frontcourt in Krstic, who is averaging 7.6 points and .4 rebounds in 21.7 minutes. It has one and 5.5 million contracts expire.

Nenad Krstic, The Boston Celtics ended a shift just to the NBA from 3 pm trade target, supportive to trade Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson Oklahoma City Thunder Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic, according to ESPN.
