Carey MulliganCarey Mulligan, Since that star performance in the acclaimed film An Education seems to see everywhere Carey Mulligan. She was in San Diego last week for Comic-Con, where her fall film advance unit scenes for fans. Talking to reporters at the Bayfront Hilton close, we said it had been a lot lazy.

“I stopped,” said Mulligan. “I do not work for a year after Wall Street. So I ended that November. It was the following October I did Drive. I took a sabbatical. I have not done anything really.”

Call movie magic. Hollywood tends to make everything look bigger, including workload Mulligan. “I did Wall Street and then what happened to education led me to March. I did not want to work through that. It is many things. I did not realize I had to go to all these parties. So all I was reading after it appeared to be a little too things I’ve done, some adolescents who felt like an education, some functions similar to Never Let Me Go, some things television had done since the beginning. ”

In the unit, Mulligan plays a mother whose ex-con husband (Oscar Isaac) gets its neighbor (Ryan Gosling) in trouble with criminals. It turns out that the thugs are no match for her neighbor, known only as a driver. She was a fan of director Nicolas Winding Refn, and up to his reputation.

“Actually, I had met before, in Melbourne, a couple of years ago when I was there at the press tour for an education. We had not really spoken much, but when I entered his house, Nic is the most brutal person I’ve met in my life, and he sat on the couch and he turned and said, ‘Oh, Carey, they were much fatter last time we met. “Therefore, since then, I thought,’ Well well, I will not lie. He always tells me if I’m a shit. “And then, just had the best time making it. He was in my fantasy of directors, so I was excited just to be on it.”
