Romper Room Dropout Turned Actor, This actor grew up poor in a rough section of Tinseltown. After a rocky start in show business-he was kicked off the set of “Romper Room” (watch a video clip of the show) at age 5 for disruptive behavior-he started doing commercials and landed a role on a popular TV sitcom (which show?) before breaking into movies. He is considered one of the best actors of his generation.

Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio (born November 11, 1974) is an American actor and film producer. As an actor, he has been nominated for the Golden Globe Award eight times and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his performance in The Aviator (2004). He has also been nominated by the Academy Awards, Screen Actors Guild and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, DiCaprio started his career by appearing in television commercials prior to landing recurring roles in TV series such as the soap opera Santa Barbara and the sitcom Growing Pains in the early 1990s.

He made his film debut in the comedic sci-fi horror film Critters 3 (1991) and received first notable critical praise for his performance in This Boy’s Life (1993). DiCaprio obtained recognition for his subsequent work in supporting roles in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) and Marvin’s Room (1996), as well as leading roles in The Basketball Diaries (1995) and Romeo + Juliet (1996), before achieving international fame in James Cameron’s Titanic (1997).

Cbssports, According to CBSSports.com ‘s Adam Jacobi, Mississippi State handed the information to the SEC regarding the recruitment Cameron Newton did not include any mention of calls reported by ESPN.com’ s Joe Schad.

“SEC spokesman Charles Bloom said Wednesday evening that there was no mention of the conversations reported in one of the school reports to the league.”

Yesterday, MSU allowed to turn information to the SEC in January and July for abnormalities in the recruitment of Newton.

Schad ESPN reported two days ago that two sources “who recruit for the State of Mississippi” (whatever that means) told him that Newton and his father had “acknowledged in separate telephone conversations with a pay-play plan while Newton was recruited last last year. ”

I do not know if you’re as tired of this story that I am, but I’m sick as hell of it. It’s like trying to argue cats.

Everyone is talking about. But nobody talks about the issue. There are hundreds of allegations, accusations, faults, blunders and lies in its own right. But there are very few facts.

However, all five minutes of fire outside Timbuktu in Tuscaloosa a new sentence or two that forces everyone else to re-write their own stories.

Welcome to a world where everyone is the media. (Warning: It will not be a good world ..)

We will try to simplify this mess for you later in the day.

If we did today, we had to change when he tweets LonnieTiger43 some bomb again later in the day.

Garfield Veterans Day

November 13, 2010 by · Comments Off on Garfield Veterans Day

Garfield Veterans Day, Jim Davis, creator of the widely syndicated “Garfield” comic has issued an apology for bad weather strip that ran on Veterans Day.

The strip, which appeared in newspapers nationwide Thursday, shows the thoughts of a spider as Garfield the cat is about to smash it with a rolled newspaper.

“If I crush, which will become famous!” read the thought bubble in the first panel of the strip.

“They will hold an annual day of remembrance in my honor, that fat slob,” the spider continues, referring to the plump orange cat.

The last panel shows a spider hanging on the teacher’s desk, while addressing a group of spiders other: “Does anyone here know why we celebrate the National Day of stupid?”

Davis caught the appearance of the strip of Veterans Day “the worst time ever.”

“The strip that runs in today’s paper seems to be making a statement on Veterans Day. It is absolutely, positively has nothing to do with this important day of memory”, said in a Thursday letter, addressed friends, fans and veterans.

The cartoonist said the strip was created almost a year ago.

“I had no idea when writing that it would appear today – every day,” he said. “I do not use a calendar showing holidays and other significant days, so when this band was in the queue, I had no idea it would be on Veterans Day.”

Davis said his brother served in Vietnam, and his son was brought periods of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“You would have to go a long way to find someone who was more proud and grateful for what our veterans have done for us all,” he said.

Garfield debuted in 41 U.S. newspapers in 1978. In 2002, the Guinness Book of World Records declared it the most broadly comic in the world.

Today, the cat cynic is a ubiquitous presence in pop culture, books and movies to his name.

In his letter, Davis implied that he had no intention of making the same mistake again, “You can bet I’ll have a calendar that shows EVERYTHING to me in the future.”
