Brewers Vs CardinalsBrewers Vs Cardinals, There was no love between the Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday night when the two division rivals went into the field for Game 1 of the NLCS. Ahead of the series, the league warned both teams keep their cool, reminding them that big brother was watching for any suspicious behavior after some trash talk before the series.

The war of words began with an archery Cardinals’ for Zach Greinke.

“There are other pitchers in the league that do it, but I do not know,” said Cardinals pitcher Chris Greinke Carpenters habit of looking down and yelling at the hitters, “a lot of guys on our team does not like Carpenter.”

Tony LaRussa was booed by the crowd at Miller Park and the atmosphere was electric, as the Brewers and the Cardinals opened the NLCS. Greinke said he heard from the Cardinals bench, too, but added that the teeth do not fall outside the normal veins that occurs during a game.

“They are shouting from the bench to some, but most teams do that,” Greinke said. “Everyone always makes fun of me growling when throwing a fastball. It’s a little weird at times, but no big deal.”

In the first, however, seemed tensions were about to overflow after Ryan Braun went deep to give the Brewers a 2-1 lead. On the next pitch, Jamie Garcia Prince Fielder of points, and both banks were given a warning. Did you have anything to do with the war of words ahead of the game, though? It is highly unlikely, especially considering that Garcia walked the next hitter, Rickie Weeks, on four pitches.

Truth be told, this is exactly what the typical fan wants in a championship series of the League. High tension, high stakes drama and combine to create a fascinating product, as we all saw on Sunday. The Brewers were the last laugh, however, the explosion of six runs in the fifth route is to a 9-6 victory.
