Boyz II Men 20th, In 1991, Boyz II Men came to the pop music scene with his own brand of R & B that peppered Motown, as harmonies with New Jack Swing, a genre that fused R & B, hip-hop and pop music.

The following year, his heartbreaking ballad “End of the Road”, sent to the Philadelphia native to international fame, and on Tuesday, the band released “Twenty”, a two-disc album of new material and re-mark the 20 anniversary from their debut album, “Cooleyhighharmony.”

“Twenty” brings Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, Nathan Morris and the “end of the road” producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. Her latest single, “One Up for Love”, the video for which premiered last Friday, was produced by Edmonds.

“There’s a song for everyone, a song for every day,” said singer Wanya Morris Boyz II Men Reuters.

“It’s autumn, so that the leaves are changing and I get a” So amazing “environment,” he added, referring to a new part-time produced by hitmaking duo track Tim & Bob.

“Tomorrow, if I feel more romantic,” Morris continued, “I may want to hear something like ‘slowly’,” which is the ballad of the album stealth, which was also produced by Tim & Bob.

The collection of 20 songs is composed of 12 new original songs and newly recorded eight versions of classics like “Motownphilly”, “I’ll make love” and “knees.”

“The first time I made the songs that were given to us and we just went into the studio and we did,” said Nathan Morris. “But now I’ve been singing for a long time and even experienced some of the things we’ve been singing … we can tell better.”

CHANGING TIMES

The group wonders to what extent – and the music industry in general – has changed in 20 years.

“When we left there was not even an Internet! No Internet!” Wanya Morris said. “Everything is digital now and it’s easier to get your talent out quickly.”

But Wanya is careful not to discount celebrities like Justin Bieber, whose career began in YouTube.

Bieber, who was born the same year that Boyz II Men “I’ll make love” was a success, says the group among his influences, and he and Boyz II Men recorded a song together for the next album from teen star Christmas.

“(It) was the perfect way for us to do something different because it is the type of record that no matter how old you are or what you are, no matter, as long as the song sounds great,” said Wanya Morris.

While many Boyz II Men-inspired acts such as 98 degrees have come and gone in the past two decades, Wanya Morris attributes the longevity of your group to the bonds of their own harvest. The trio met as students at the Philadelphia School for Creative and Performing Arts.

“Most of the time have soloists who come together to form a group, and are often artificially by a record label or a manager – only four or five guys who look like models or TV stars,” said Wanya. “Boyz II Men, we are united through music.”

No doubt, there were differences between the group in recent years. Originally a quartet, the group saw the departure of original member Michael McCary in 2003.

Despite health problems were cited at the same time, Nathan Morris now says McCrary “is a kind of lazy” and that “it was an amicable split.”
