Julio Cesar Chavez Jr

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (42-0-1) easily did enough to beat Billy Lyell in Culiacan, Mexico last night. Junior had a fairly typical performance, with flashes of skill and substance mixed with periods of apathy, but in general it was too big and too good to Lyell. Rose unanimous decision. Lyell (22-9-0), whose defeat reads like a who’s who of the middleweight division mid and junior, was never in the fight. The Ohio.
Which surprised victim before CCM Jr. and John Duddy last retired in 2009, was added at various times by the right hand of the Mexican. Junior is really huge for a medium weight (and a Mexican, for that matter) and seemed to be in a weight class. Lyell, which is the main attribute is his toughness, his face red as a tomato in Sinaloa is famous for the end of round 1. CCM Jr, by contrast, showed his good genetics and lack of fitness looking completely unmarked, but totally out of steam by the end of combat.

The fight was much more entertaining than the Mexicans covers band playing in the bar in Guadalajara was watching Pink Floyd and The Doors sound pretty amazing in Spanglish. Far from the JCC Jr. hobby than I expected, people in the bar seemed disinterested. Most of them said they were there to watch a football match between teams of GDL and Mexico City and not worry about the fight.
Were pretty neutral on the issue throughout the JCC Jr. laziness. Unlike wrestling, soccer game inspired by cries of “Fck Your Dad” and “What a fag!” And that was just for the ladies. Junior was already set for some great fights, and do not think this victory adds to that. He looked good at times, especially at the time his right hand, but always had its final rounds and seemed to fade circling, waiting for the receipt, after throwing punches. What’s more, he did not use the jab Duddy who demonstrated against everything that should or could be.

In the Estadio Banorte Culiac? N, Sinaloa, Mexico, about 12,000 local fans returned to see the silver WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (42-0, 30 KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Billy Lyell robust competitor (22 -9, 4 KOs). Lyell was unable to give Chavez a problem, and that was the main cause of continued inaction. Chavez took his time and stayed at a steady pace to land heavy blows and win the round.

Lyell was not big enough or strong enough to present a real threat in the fight. The scores were 99-92, 96-94 and 98-92. Chavez moves to a shot at WBC champion available Zbik Sebastian. Interim WBC super bantamweight champion Jackie Nava (03/02/1923, 11 KOs) won a unanimous decision over ten rounds Frede Gonzalez (6-7-1, 2 KOs). Nava had very few problems outboxing Gonzalez, who could not muster enough shots in any round. It was one of the best performances of the race on a rival Nava very outdated. The scores were 99-91, 99-91 and 100-90.

Chely WrightChely Wright:According to TMZ has learned the great “coming out” announcement due this week will be … country star Chely Wright.

There was a big buzz in the last week as to which celebrity is announced / she was gay … we knew there would be presented in people magazine next week. But now TMZ knows for sure.

Wright has a book coming out this week too – it’s called, “Like Me”. And she has a CD coming out too – called up from the floor.

The singer scored 39 # 1 country song in 1999 with “Single White Female” when he was named the Academy of Country Music new artist of the year.

Wright is the first major country artist ever to come out. She has been romantically linked to several celebrities, including Brad Paisley.

This is a big problem in the country in the world. Chely is rolling the dice in his career … it is unclear how traditionally conservative country fans will react.

Interesting … that lists as his publicist Howard Bragman, who was the mastermind behind the story Chaz Bono.
