Bobby Brown Father Dies ?, The 18-year-old daughter of the legendary soul singer was said to be suffering ‘stress and anxiety’ following the death of her mother, aged 48.

Whitney was found dead by her bodyguard in her bathtub in the Beverly Hilton hotel on Saturday afternoon.

According to reports, a distraught Bobbi consumed alcohol in the wake of the news before being given a sedative by a family friend. When she passed out, Radar Online then reports she was taken to hospital before being released hours later.

The distraught teenager was then seen being carried out of the same hotel where her superstar mum was found dead on a stretcher at around 10.30am on Sunday. She was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA and was said to be ‘awake and alert.’ US gossip site TMZ claim she was ‘hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable.’
Bobbi was released later that day but it has emerged family and close friends are concerned she may be suicidal and are considering rehab as an option.

But these reports come as her father, R&B star Bobby Brown, announced he is leaving his reunion tour with his group New Edition to be by his daughter’s side in LA following the devastating news.

In a statement, Bobby said: ‘I am deeply saddened at the passing of my ex-wife, Whitney Houston. At this time, we ask for privacy, especially for my daughter, Bobbi-Kristina.

‘I appreciated all of the condolences that have been directed towards my family and I at this most difficult time.’
Bobby added to Extra that they would ‘get through this tragedy as a family’.

He was pictured arriving at LAX airport this morning with fianceé Alicia Etheridge. Looking tired and distracted, he kept his head down as he tried to avoid paparazzi.

Bobby, who married Whitney in 1992, was performing in Mississippi when he heard of the news of her death.

According to US Weekly, he received loud applause when he came on stage late, apparently after breaking down moments earlier.
He addressed the crowd and dedicated the show to his former partner.

As he looked to the sky, he said: ‘I would like to say, “I love you, Whitney.” The hardest thing for me to do is to come on this stage,’ he told the audience.

The star then sobbed during the ballad Tenderoni, asking the crowd to sing along, before walking off stage when he was unable to continue.

Whitney’s family have also issued a statement, saying: ‘We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Whitney. This is an unimaginable tragedy and we will miss her terribly. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from her friends and fans.’

And New Edition also spoke out following her death: ‘We are absolutely shocked and saddened by the sudden and untimely death of our dear sister Whitney. As a group, we are extremely close; when one of us hurts, we all hurt.’

Meanwhile, it has emerged in the moments following Whitney’s death, Bobbi was refused entry to her mother’s hotel room to see her.
According to TMZ, the wannabe singer and actress got into a shouting match with police and ‘screamed, cursed and demanded to see her mother.’

Houston’s cousin Dionne Warwick was also not allowed into the room.

Whitney married Bobby Brown in 1992 but the pair were divorced in 2007.

The I Will Always Love You singer entered rehab last year following a battle with drugs abuse.

They only had one daughter together and last year The National Enquirer published photographs that appeared to show the 18-year-old snorting cocaine.

However, she vehemently denied these claims, taking to her Twitter page to claim she was ‘set up’ because of a ‘horrible relationship that went sour.’

‘It’s really not what it looks like,’ she added.

Her father Bobby told ABC News Now at the time: ‘I don’t know anything about that. My daughter, she doesn’t, she doesn’t do that.’
