‘Beavis & Butthead’ Return, It has been almost 14 years since the vague slackest a generation, Beavis and Butt-head, filled the airwaves with his antics, but when the duo returns to television with new episodes on Thursday (October 27), MTV is again a good different.

Creator Mike Judge had to address changes in the channel of deciding which direction to take in the show without music videos play as regular on MTV, there is less of an opportunity for Beavis and Butt-head sit and comment on them as they did during the original run of the series. Reality shows like “Jersey Shore” and “16 and Pregnant” have replaced what used to block music videos, and the judge said he wanted the new “Beavis and Butt-head” episodes to reflect that change.

According to the judge, MTV reality shows make up 60 percent of the content of Beavis and Butt-head sit and watch now. The transition from music videos to reality programming has been easy for the judge. “I think it is easier to take pictures of the reality shows, music videos,” said the judge.

However, Beavis and Butt-head not only make fun of the videos he saw. “In the beginning of the first race, did a lot of what I would take pictures in the videos,” said the judge. “But sometimes I want to talk about whatever, and do not necessarily have much to do in saying one thing or another on video.”

Reality TV, by contrast, is a different story. The judge has found that with the new crop of shows, the material is too mature for a fool to ignore. “With the reality shows, it just feels like trash pay me,” said the judge. “The shows have been really fun to Beavis and Butt-head look.”
