Jerry Mathers, I think it’s safe to say that we all grew up loving “Leave It to Beaver.” June Cleaver was a housewife, and everyone’s favorite mom, and sadly, Barbara Billingsley, the actress who brought to life in June, has died at the age of 94. He died at his home in Santa Monica, California.

Jerry Mathers role of the son of Barbara Billingsley television, “The Beaver”, and now reports that actor is “saddened by his death.”

Mathers made the following statement regarding the loss of Barbara:

“I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend and lifelong mentor to Barbara Billingsley. She will live in the hearts of his fans as a wonderful actress and be remembered by friends as a kind woman. Barbara was a consultant of the patient and the teacher. She has helped me in this difficult path through life by teaching me the importance of manners and respect for others. She will be deeply missed by all his family, friends, fans and especially for me. ”

Leave It To Beaver, The actress who some believe that personifies the quintessential TV mom is dead. Barbara Billingsley, star of Leave It to Beaver, died this morning at the age of 94. The exact cause of death is not known, but had been unwell for some time.

Born in Los Angeles with Robert Collyer Combes, a police chief, and Lillian A. Combes, who was the youngest of three children. Billingsley, AOs divorced parents while still a child and she fell in love with theater in school.

After spending a year at a junior college in Los Angeles, Billingsley went to Broadway as part of the Straw Hat magazine. Closed quickly, but stayed in New York and worked as a model. In 1945, he obtained a contract with MGM and appeared in a series of small roles in films until the mid 1950’s. Led them to be released in several television a day.

In 1957, Billingsley was signed to play June Cleaver, the mother of comedy Leave It to Beaver, and received top billing on Tony Dow, Hugh Beaumont, and Jerry Mathers. The program originally aired on CBS, but after a while, he moved to ABC and lasted five years. The series ended on its own terms, and was one of the few in the time to have a series finale. From 1957 to 1963 and in the decades of repetition, the glamor of June, wearing pearls and high heels at home, you could count on to help her husband, Charles (Hugh Beaumont), get his son Theodore, better known as Beaver Mathers (Jerry) and his older brother Wally (Tony Dow), disengaged from countless minor jams, a crocodile in the basement of a horse in the garage.

… The real Barbara Billingsley, who had nothing but respect for June Cleaver, was a former model-actress race was married three times and spent most of his career as a single working mother (of two, by the way).
