Bagged Salad RecallBagged Salad Recall, Taylor Farms produce company announced a voluntary recall of Class I of the brand choice of several fresh salads in bags Wednesday after a sample tested positive for Salmonella by the state of Washington.

Both Fred Meyer and QFC grocery stores have asked customers check their refrigerators for the recalled products, including four varieties of fresh selection of salad bags with an expiration date of October 18, 2011.

The recalled products are:

Select Field 8 oz fresh green salad,
10 oz fresh selections Romaine leaf
Selections 10 oz fresh mix of Romaine Salad
Fresh Picks 10 oz Romaine Hearts
Fred Meyer and QFC stores have removed the products pulled from store shelves and has initiated the recall systems to notify customers.

Both chains are asking customers to carefully check their refrigerators for these products off the market because they may contain salmonella.

Any open or closed the products included in this recall can be returned to local QFC or Fred Meyer stores for a full refund or replacement.
