Back To Black Amy Winehouse, Amy Winehouse’s relatives have launched a search for a talented youngster to win a stage school scholarship in the tragic singer’s name.

Following her death last July (11), the Back To Black hitmaker’s parents set up the Amy Winehouse Foundation to help young drug addicts battle their demons.

They are now offering one teenager financial backing to train at Britain’s revered Sylvia Young Theatre School, where Winehouse herself started out on her path to stardom.

Winehouse’s father Mitch tells Britain’s The Sun, “Amy was a pupil at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. This is where her talent was recognised and nurtured.

“The Foundation would like to give a child who otherwise couldn’t afford the same opportunity the chance to realise their talents.

“The scholarship is such great news for us after all the recent ups and downs.

“Nothing will ever make up for our loss, but this is a wonderful thing for us to be able to do. The scholarship is something that we are deeply, deeply proud to be offering. It will keep Amy’s name alive in the best possible way.”

Sylvia Young adds, “We loved Amy and we are thrilled and honoured the Amy Winehouse Foundation is setting up this scholarship in her name.
