Concept 1, Athletic Propulsion Laboratory ‘and 300 shoe concept implements a spring-based system that aims to increase lift.

Twins Adam and Ryan Goldston founded the company in Los Angeles, both former USC basketball walk-ons whose father worked in the footwear industry. The brothers said they put the names of NBA players who expressed interest in the shoes because the players have signed with other companies. Claim that several NBA players, including about 30 percent of the rookies are interested in sneakers.

The NBA however issued a statement Tuesday that bans the use of shoes. “Under league rules, players can not wear any shoes during a game that creates an unfair competitive advantage,” said NBA.

The claim of Athletic Propulsion Laboratory that the user receives additional lift to wear shoes, have a self-funded report and presented out by doctors. The result of this study is to dramatically increase the jump height of the user, but may be considered important that caught the attention of the NBA and led to bans in the league.

What sells is not self-funded study conducted by the company, is the fact that the NBA banned the shoes, which they believe provides an unfair advantage.
