Arnold SchwarzeneggerArnold Schwarzenegger, Amidst revelations of a love child, divorce, and the lingering consequences of a controversial last-minute reprieve, the former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger came to the attention tonight to receive an award from a group of businesses in downtown Los Angeles.

However, no mention of any of these events to get headlines like gave the keynote address at the American Chamber of Commerce Executives Convention and accepted an award in honor of their support to the business community through economic development efforts, while he was governor.

Instead, Schwarzenegger attached to the movie catch phrases and quirky humor that were hallmarks of his seven years as governor. “I’ll run for president of the National Association of Construction Corps,” he joked.

And as he spoke to the crowd of business leaders from around the country and elsewhere, Schwarzenegger acknowledged the recent slaughter in Norway, where 77 people were killed.

“And we have only gone through some incredible events, spectacular,” said the international members of the crowd.

He used a quote from former President Dwight Eisenhower as he referred to the recent split in American politics.

“He said ‘politics is like a road,'” said Schwarzenegger. “` The center is used, and the left and right represent the gutter. ”

The actor turned politician received a standing ovation as he accepted his award from Gary Toebben, president of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, who also mentioned the recent scandals.

Schwarzenegger is involved the process of divorcing his wife of 25 years, former California first lady Maria Shriver. Just weeks after announcing their separation in May, acknowledged that he had had a child with a housewife of the family of 20 years, Mildred “Patty” Baena.

He also faces two lawsuits that were consolidated and heard in Sacramento, switching from January imprisonment of 16 years of the son of former Assembly Speaker Fabian N?? Ez.

However, Schwarzenegger keeps his script and ended with a combination of two signature lines, “So long, and I’ll be back.”
