Apple IOS 5Apple IOS 5, Loaded with over 200 new features, Apple Inc. ‘s latest mobile operating system, IOS 5, land on Wednesday. This is a free software update, expected to improve the performance of popular Apple products.
Some key features that brings IOS 5 are totally new notification system, a
free application for Twitter messaging system-wide integration and synchronization newsstand Wi-Fi, among others. IOS 5 is compatible with iPhone 3G, iPhone, iPhone, iPhone and iPod Touch 2 third and fourth generation.

Previously, Apple used to publicize a new version of IOS on an iPhone update. However, this time the technology giant based in Cupertino delayed the launch of the operating systems and the new smart phone, and customers ended up with the iPhone 4S, a slightly improved version of iPhone 4, not a completely redesigned iPhone 5.

Given the smartphone market increasingly aggressive with the rise of Google Android, IOS 5 is a major update of the Apple camp. A lot of interesting new features is another fundamental reason why the arrival of the IOS 5 is a matter of madness among the geeks. Yes, Apple has introduced some features Android-first on his list, but iOS 5 is expected to be ready to take initiative in their own way.

Now users can access the reports in IOS 5 sliding down the status bar. Android is similar to the system already used. But iOS 5 shows the notifications on the locked screen too. Users can respond to notices without unlocking the screen. With the IOS 5, the notifications can be configured to appear as a small message at the top of the screen, which does not interrupt what you’re doing. The games do not stop, for example, and the box disappears after a few seconds.

Another important feature of the IOS 5 is Siri, which allows text to speech conversion and voice commands. However, the iPhone 4S is the only model that supports the new voice control personal assistant. It will be available in 4 or 3G iPhone.

What makes Apple IOS approach is different from that of Google Android is his penchant for user assistance. With IOS 5, Apple is offering services to users to help them with their regular jobs. Users can send quick IMessage as reminders to the other 5 users having an iPhone IOS, iPhone or iPod Touch. With Wireless Sync, users can start a conversation on a device and continue in another. You can also track their messages beyond the delivery and read receipts optional. IMessage works for sending text, pictures, location and contacts.

The new IOS 5 also makes Web pages in an easy to read, no mess design and, therefore, users do not need to laugh all the necessary phone to receive alerts. The new IOS is also an improvement of key Safari browser. Thanks to reader new feature, users can save Web pages to read later, even in offline mode.

The upgrade also aims to separate the personal computer iDevice, which Apple calls “PC free”. This option will allow users to activate your iDevices without connecting to a computer. In addition, all backups and synchronizations occur exclusive of any connection to a computer, provided the user has the data stored in the icloud.

Here we come to Apple’s much talk of new cloud infrastructure – the icloud. The service is integrated into some key aspects of the IOS 5 – photos, e-books, backup storage device records and, of course, the iTunes music program. The most popular feature among icloud power users could be the photo gallery, an option that can be turned on or off and allows users to automatically sync photos across multiple devices.

Apple has also integrated many new features to the IOS 5, for example, access to the camera, even from the locked screen, take snapshots using the volume up button, complete in iPads tabbed browsing, improved gaming center and improved photo editing.

For some unknown reason, the launch of another version of candy called Android, Ice Cream Sandwich, a new Samsung phone last week was postponed.

Although little is known yet about the latest version of the Android operating system, which is expected to be a hybrid of Android 2.3 (gingerbread) and Android 3.0 (Honeycomb). Unlike Pan Honeycomb – exclusively for mobile phones and tablets, respectively – the ice cream sandwich is a single structure for both phones and tablets.

The ice cream sandwich is expected to carry features like the new user interface and hardware without buttons, multi-core architectures, Linux kernel 3.0, music purchases in the market, more speed, the integration of Google TV, integration Chrome OS and built-in motor of topics, among others. It is also expected to have backward compatibility, improved gameplay and new features to the camera.

But analysts say the new version of Android would be a mix of features and concepts for the average user, it might seem a little daunting. Android has everything, but needs a little extra sweat to make it easier to use.

Thanks to its open source nature, Android IOS have been overcome in terms of market share. But with IOS 5, Apple seems to have taken its efforts to capitalize on everything.
