Amy Winehouse HusbandAmy Winehouse Husband, Amy Winehouse, singer and songwriter who rose to fame with “Rehab” won five Grammy awards and sold over 5 million albums, has died, the Associated Press. She was 27. Winehouse was found dead at her home in north London, AP reported, citing police. The British star had hits with “Valerie” and “Love Is a Losing Game”, a mixture of R & B, jazz and soul. Since 2007, has been in the news as much for her personal problems as her music. Paparazzi watching her every move was battling alcohol and drug addiction and suffered from poor health, depression and eating disorders. She got in trouble with the police and their marriage.

Winehouse’s first album, “Frank” (2003) showed her contralto voice. His natural talent made comparisons with Nina Simone, Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan as well as more recent stars, Macy Gray and Lauryn Hill. Their second album, “Back to Black” led critics to call her best female vocalist since Dusty Springfield UK. Many singers, who followed, such as Kate Nash, Lily Allen and Duffy, were labeled as “the new Amy Winehouse.”

“This is the best female vocalist I’ve heard in my entire career,” said British singer George Michael’s Winehouse in a 2007 interview with the British Broadcasting Corp. “And one of the best writers. She is a fantastic talent and must be supported.”

Winehouse Universal record company said their successful 2008 Grammy boosted its sales. He tied the record for most awards by a female artist in one night: best new artist, best album, best female vocalist, best song (“Rehab”) and Best Pop Vocal Album (for “Back to Black”). She also won the Ivor Novello awards in the UK songs

“I knew I could sing,” said Winehouse in a 2004 interview to the BBC. “But I always thought that everyone could sing, everyone is born with a singing voice. Yes, I can sing, I have a good voice, but many people can and do.”

As he became more famous, the appearance of Winehouse became increasingly distinctive: a lot of tattoos, wings extended Cleopatra kohl around the eyes, big heels, shorter skirts, beehive hair and ever higher cumulative. His pictures were everywhere: slip of the bars, clad only in bra and shorts, holding cigarettes and bottles. UK tabloids called her Declinehouse, Wino and a glass of wine.

Amy Jade Winehouse was born in London on September 14, 1983, taxi driver father, Mitch, and pharmacy-technician mother, Janis. She grew up in Southgate, north London. His Jewish family played records by singers like Dinah Washington and Frank Sinatra. A young Amy also liked hip-hop and started writing songs at age 14, goes to the Sylvia Young Theatre School. She was expelled at 16 for the nose piercing. He also attended the BRIT School funded by the UK music industry.

Winehouse musician friend Tyler James passed her demo tape from Universal, which offered a contract for a jazz vocalist and began to rise. Shunned Winehouse cover versions, the insurance market as someone with her voice could go on, and co-wrote most of the songs on “Frank.”

Musician Mark Ronson, who was hired to produce their next album in 2006, added the sound of the girl groups of the 1960s.

Personal life and musical Winehouse joined in the title track, “Rehab.” Reports began to focus on her weight loss, and bulimia. She appeared drunk on television as their management urged to have treatment, she wrote the song in the letter rejecting the chorus repeating “They tried to make me go to rehab I said no, no, no.” Like Holiday, who channels her own anguish in the songs and drugs?

The album second single, “You know I’m No Good” was deliberately ironic and also carried the title of a DVD, “I told you it was a problem. Live in London”

Ronson also had a hand in the success of Winehouse “Valerie” originally on her album “Version” and a cover of a song by The Zutons.

“Back to Black” – a lament compare a fading romance to death – still short Winehouse split with her boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil. They married secretly during a trip to Florida in May 2007 and became inseparable, but Winehouse said it would attack him when he was drunk.

Guy Fielder-Civil urged fans to boycott her music, saying he feared that the couple committed suicide or overdose. When Winehouse was taken to hospital and cancels part of a European tour, her spokesman said he needed rest. The newspapers said they had taken a mixture of alcohol, cocaine, heroin and a tranquilizer ketamine.

The journey was resumed, although in October, Winehouse and her husband were arrested in Norway for possession of cannabis. Later, Fielder-Civil was one of those arrested on charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice after an assault on an owner of a bar. He was in prison and pleaded guilty in June 2008. On July 21, was sentenced to 27 months in prison for the crime.

With her husband behind bars, their remaining shows were chaotic. He forgot the lyrics of the songs and ran from the stage for frequent breaks. She was booed and swore to mourn in public. Amid the furor, their dates of U.S. were canceled.

In January, the British newspaper The Sun published a video of a woman who said she was smoking crack Winehouse. The video was passed to the police, who interviewed the singer without the burden of it.

Winehouse was initially denied a U.S. visa to travel to the 2008 Grammy ceremony. He was later allowed to enter, but was advised not to travel, so she performed via satellite.

She returned to the stage in May, although the following month he was diagnosed with early stage emphysema. His father said that her lungs were only 70 percent of capacity due to smoking cigarettes and crack cocaine. He said that if continued, the condition is fatal.
