All American BowlAll American Bowl, The Florida Gators got some good news at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl when Shelby (N.C.) defensive end Jonathan Bullard picked up a Gator hat and committed to the Gators. He joins teammate and earlier UF commit Rhaheim Ledbetter, a 5-11, 190-pound safety on the Gators board.

Bullard, a 6-foot-4, 255-pounder, will help solidify a defensive line that became depleted this past season for the 7-6 Gators.

Bullard joins JaFar Mann, Dante Phillips, juco transfer Visesio Salt and Quinteze Williams as possible answers to shoring up the Gators’ D-Line woes.

He picked the Gators over South Carolina and Clemson and the Florida incoming defensive linemen are now looking fairly formiddable, but they could still use another big-time star like Bullard.

Fellow U.S. Army Bowl participant offensive lineman D.J. Jefferies of Charlotte (N.C.) has also committed to the Gators and he was named the U.S. Army Lineman of the Year on Friday night in San Antonio. Another Gator commitment TE Kent Tayloor of Land O’ Lakes is also at the Army Bowl.
