At one point, police attempted to break into the office of Al Jazeera in Cairo, but from this hour, live coverage continues. “In many respects, he is now Al Jazeera,” says New York Times. This shows that while social media is a powerful new tool in covering news and organize people, few things have the power to compel the live video, both on television screens and computer in the world.
