Alexandria Mills, The 2011 Miss World contest to be held at Earls Court in London will announce the winner of the competition, to be crowned Miss World 2010, Alexandria Mills of the United States on November 6.

Apart from the umbrella title, a number of other competitions and titles, some of which have already begun. The Miss World Organization has announced one of them – the “Beauty with a Purpose” contest – the winners.

The ten contestants chosen will work to raise awareness for charities and causes around the world. As part of the contest, each participant shared stories and insights about the saddest difficult situations in each of their countries, where they serve a cause.

Miss Zimbabwe, for example, expressed concern about the lack of clean water and sanitation in the country. She stated that she would be working to educate rural people about the importance of cleanliness.

“Water and sanitation should not be a privilege that should be a right,” he said.

Miss Ghana spoke about the importance of education and improving health conditions, especially in poor neighborhoods, where children are homeless, proper care and even food.

“Miss World We are very proud of all the contestants. Every beautiful woman must have a purpose,” said Miss World President Julia Morley.

The top ten “Beauty with a Purpose” finalists are: Ecuador, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Philippines, Scotland, South Africa, Spain and Zimbabwe.
