“Ten years have passed since a perfect blue sky morning became the blackest of nights. Since then we have lived under the sun and shade, and though we can never unseen what happened here, we can see that children who lost their parents have become young adults, the grandchildren were born and the good works and public services have taken hold in honor those who loved and lost. “- New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who spoke at the funeral New York.
“I have not stopped missing my dad. It was incredible … I wish my dad had been there to teach driving, ask a girl on a date to see me graduate from high school and a hundred other things can not even begin to name … I hope I can make my father proud of the young my brother and I have become. “- Peter Negron, whose father, Peter, died at the World Trade Center, who spoke at the funeral in New York.

“In the decade since the 2001 attacks in the United States, terrorists have succeeded only in killing innocent people, often among those who represent Al Qaeda is now weaker than at any time in the decade since 9 / 11 -. and political progress through peaceful protest in the Middle East and North Africa has shown that it is increasingly irrelevant for the future. The true expression of what people in the Muslim world aims was not at Ground Zero in 2001, but in squares and streets throughout the Middle East and North Africa this year. So while we remember the victims of 9 / 11, stand firm with our allies and remain vigilant tirelessly against future threats, we also face the future with confidence in our values ??and faith in human nature. “- British Foreign Secretary, William Hague, in a statement.

Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning Lyrics, WS-EX-RE WERE YOU WS-EX-N TS-EX- WORLD STOPPED TURNING THAT SEPTEMBER DAY?
Lyrics by Alan Jackson:
“Where were you when the world stopped turning that September day
Out in the yard with your wife and children
Working on some stage in LA
Did you stand there in shock at the site of?
That black smoke rising against that blue sky
Did you shout out in anger?
In fear for your neighbor
Or did you just sit down and cry
Did you weep for the children?
Who lost their dear loved ones
And pray for the ones who don’t know
Did you rejoice for the people who walked from the rubble?
And sob for the ones left below
Did you burst out in pride?
For the red white and blue
The heroes who died just doing what they do
Did you look up to heaven for some kind of answer?
And look at yourself to what really matters
I’m just a singer of simple songs
I’m not a real political man
I watch CNN but I’m not sure I can tell you
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith hope and love are some good things he gave us
And the greatest is love
Where were you when the world stopped turning that September day?
Teaching a class full of innocent children
Driving down some cold interstate
Did you feel guilty cause you’re a survivor
In a crowded room did you feel alone?
Did you call up your mother and tell her you love her
Did you dust off that bible at home?
Did you open your eyes and hope it never happened
Close your eyes and not go to sleep
Did you notice the sunset the first time in ages?
Speak with some stranger on the street
Did you lay down at night and think of tomorrow?
Go out and buy you a gun
Did you turn off that violent old movie you’re watching?
And turn on “I Love Lucy” reruns
Did you go to a church and hold hands with some stranger
Stand in line and give your own blood
Did you just stay home and cling tight to your family
Thank God you had somebody to love
I’m just a singer of simple songs
I’m not a real political man
I watch CNN but I’m not sure I can tell you
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith hope and love are some good things he gave us
And the greatest is love
I’m just a singer of simple songs
I’m not a real political man
I watch CNN but I’m not sure I can tell you
The difference in Iraq and Iran
But I know Jesus and I talk to God
And I remember this from when I was young
Faith hope and love are some good things he gave us
And the greatest is love
The greatest is love
The greatest is love
Where were you when the world stopped turning that September day “

Have You Forgotten Lyrics
September 11, 2010 by USA Post · Comments Off on Have You Forgotten Lyrics
Have You Forgotten Lyrics, Have you forgotten Lyrics and Video?
I hear people say we do not need this war
But, I say there are some things worth fighting for
What about our freedom and this land
We could not keep ’em by backing down
They say we do not get in the mess we realize
Before you start your preaching let me ask you this my friend
Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
If your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going through a living hell
And you say we should not worry ’bout bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
They have all the pictures of my T.V.
Said it too disturbing for you and me
It’ll just breed anger that’s what the experts say
If it were up to me I would see everyday
Some say this country is just looking for a fight
Well, after 9 / 11 man I should say that the right of
Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
If your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going through a living hell
And we vowed to one behind bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
I’ve been there with the soldiers
Who is gone away to war?
And you can bet that they remember
Just what they’re fighting for
Have you forgotten that all men are slain?
Yes, some went down like heroes in that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten about our Pentagon?
All the loved ones lost and that we left to pursue
Did not you tell me not to worry about bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?
