Douglas County Schools, Construction is well underway on a site 31, about 3.1 MW of solar projects for the school district in Douglas County (“DCSD) in Douglas County, Colorado. Working with the regeneration of Finance Solar Project DCSD will reduce energy costs for school district reduce its carbon footprint and educate the student population.
More than 17,000 solar panels are being installed at 31 sites across the country DCSD in order to reduce carbon emissions and save money. Sites with photovoltaic modules, including 30 primary and secondary schools as well as an athletics stadium, all located in Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lone Tree or Parker, Colorado.

Initial costs for solar are about 18 million, yet the project cost in advance any school district – the entire project is funded and supported by the regeneration of Finance, a provider of solar energy. By virtue of their power purchase agreement (“PPA”), regeneration of Finance pays the full cost to develop, construct, operate and maintain the project while purchases DCSD power without emissions from regeneration Finance at a reduced rate. The low-cost energy that regeneration of Finance will provide the school district is estimated to save 5.5 million DCSD and over the next 25 years.

This construction project has progressed sun at an extremely rapid. DCSD received regeneration project finance following a tender in July, and DCSD and regeneration of Finance executed the APA in the following month. Over the next three months, regeneration of Finance and its local partners have obtained all necessary permits and approvals, set appropriate funding, and in mid-November, has received approval from project managers to DCSD begin construction. With all the solar modules, inverters and mounting equipment on the site, the project will continue to act quickly and should be completed on time.

Regeneration of Finance based on its more than 25 years of experience in project financing and the expertise of tax advantaged transactions efficiently and effectively implementing solar projects across the country.

“We focus on finding solutions that will save money Colorado schools while bringing new technologies to the education system in this state progressive,” said Laurance Friedman, CEO of regeneration Finance.

By continuing to work with school systems and other local communities, regeneration of Finance intends to do its utmost to help achieve the goal of Colorado to increase solar power in the state. Prospective DCSD, rapid action and selection of good partners have enabled the solar energy project to move quickly to tender for the design to construction. Soon, DCSD has a solar solution that educates, saves money and helped to create local “green collar” jobs.

Premier Power Renewable Energy, Inc., in collaboration with partners MasTec Power, LLC, is the design-build solar responsible for the construction of the DCSD project.

Boulder Fire

Boulder Fire, The day was already going to be busy in Black Hawk casinos such as Ameristar Casino Resort, but after word of the fire traveled around Boulder, the day got even better for Ameristar. Nancy Eagan and her husband decided to leave Boulder for the day and try your luck at the casino.

“We woke up this morning and were planning to barbecue, but when we saw the news of the fire, we changed our plans,” said Eagan. “So I came here Ameristar Casino) and spend the day playing the slot machines. We’re probably going to dinner here, then return home later tonight.”

At the time of the Eagan home, fire should be a thing of the past. Strong winds are credited with sparking the fire, and emergency teams have been working to stop the fire all afternoon. Several buildings have been destroyed, but no injuries have been reported so far.

Evacuation centers have been created and filed dozens of residents in schools from this afternoon, according to The Associated Press. Roads have been closed as emergency units attempt not only to control the fire, but some of the tasks of cleaning the buildings and structures have been destroyed.

In Black Hawk, the game went on holiday as usual. The Eagan was only a few of the thousands of players who had presented the city’s casinos. Colorado casinos have become a popular destination area for travelers who want to enjoy the beauty of Colorado and have the casino option available.
Boulder Fire broke out this morning in Colorado threw a wrench into the Labor Day plans of many people in the state. Although the fire was contained by the afternoon, many residents used fire as a reason to travel to the Black Hawk casinos.
