2012 Military Pay Chart

2012 Military Pay Chart, SCOTS choir singer Samantha Stevenson is on course to collect the first official singles chart No1 award.

With pre-sales at a record high, the Military Wives Choir single Wherever You Are is favourite to go to the top of the singles chart on Sunday and knock X Factor winners Little Mix off top spot.

When the announcement is made on Top Of The Pops, the winner will be presented with the first actual award from the Official Charts Company to mark the 60th anniversary of the official singles chart in 2012.

Last week’s chart-topper Olly Murs, who has three No1 singles and one No1 album, said: “When you release a record, to have people love it – and see it at the top of the tree – is the best feeling in the world.”

Other releases battling for the festive No1 are two covers of Wham!’s Last Christmas, by The Only Way Is Essex and Joe McElderry.

If the Military Wives do reach the top, they will become only the second act to keep X Factor from the top of the Christmas rankings in seven years.
