2011 Espy Awards2011 Espy Awards, Dallas Mavericks professional basketball won the ESPY award for best team and Drik Nowitzki was named best male athlete ESPY Awards 2011 held in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Olympic and world champion skier Lindsey Vonn collected the trophy for best female athlete of the year for the second consecutive time.

Other awards including best breakthrough athlete, who was pro-basketball player Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers and the best performance of the championship by Tim Thomas, professional hockey goalkeeper Stanley Cup winner, the Boston Bruins.
