Breeders’ Cup 2011,Two million $ Emirates Airline Filly & Mare Turf race could have been one of the toughest in the Breeders’ Cup board of 15 races this weekend at Churchill Downs.

However, the aspect of the race changed dramatically when connections noon, 2009 and 2010 winner, runner, and Sarafina – another superior European invaders – chose to run against children on the lawn and 3,000,000 on Saturday. So that left the mare & Mare event with a field of 12.

“It could have been much more difficult,” said coach Roger Varian, who Nahrain chair behind Stacelita second option.

However, coaches are not going to complain about the two horses on the grass are among the three favorites for the race.

Instead, connections are trying to find a way to get a piece of the pay day in what now becomes a very competitive race with four European-style quality horses.

“No, I’m very disappointed to see that both in the lineup, but there are some good mares,” said Varian. “There is a good deal of competition, and should be a good clash between Europeans and Americans.”

Stacelita, the 2-1 favorite, ran the first 14 races of her career in Europe before coming to the U.S. and transferred to Chad Brown barn.

The 5 year old French-bred daughter of Monsun was third after a difficult journey to the United Nations at Monmouth, her U.S. debut on 2 July. She won the Beverly D. by a length and a quarter and the Flower Bowl in two lengths.

“I hope to run well,” said Brown. “She’s doing great, her energy level is good. But there are some legitimate horses in that country. There will be a basket to win. She’s going to have to run the race to win.”

Brown believes that the three races in the United Stacelita help against her main rival, Nahrain European invaders, advertise and Misty for Me.

Nahrain is the second option, to 7-2 and is 4 for 4 in her career. The daughter of 3 years old, beat Selkirk announced at the Opera de Longchamp in her last outing.

“She’s a very progressive filly,” said Varian. “He has improved every start, and I think she has a good chance here.”

Play Misty for Me is 1.10 and is 5-10 in her career, but has just one win in three starts since May. But that victory came over one afternoon in Ireland for the daughter of Irish-bred Galileo.

Another entry with foreign connections is Dubawi Heights, an English import of 1.8, which has been in the U.S. since last October. She finished second in the Beverly D. before winning the Yellow Ribbon at Santa Anita last month.

Only one of seven American horses in the race is 30-1 on the morning line and that’s Aruna Graham Motion. He chose to run on this place instead of the Ladies Classic on earth, and she is on the list to 6-1.

Movement, said the winner of 4 years of age, the maiden at Keeneland is willing to take against the invaders, despite some questions about her get away.

“I feel more confident of getting the mile and three eighths me about her performance on the floor for the first time in her career,” said Motion.

The second entry for the movement is defending Filly & Mare Turf winner shared account, which is 30 to 1 in the morning line. She is fourth and sixth in two starts since winning at 46-1 last year.

“His last race was in getting a career in it,” said Motion. “I was very limited in what he could do to get here. I think it came out of him what he needed.

“I feel as good on the implementation of this year as I did last year.”
