World Series Game 5

World Series Game 5, If the Rangers win, it is hard to imagine anyone, but Mike Napoli took home the MVP award.

What do your team Napoli in Game 5? Only gained offensively and defensively, is all.

Things were not in a good state of Texas in the bottom of the seventh. After a rough second entry was throwing CJ Wilson St Louis Berkman and Matt Holliday scoring errors Ranger, was the home team by one run.

Alexi Ogando was on the plate, not a great confidence booster for Texas fans, who saw leaving the reliever hit in Game 1 winner and Albert Pujols dinger in Game 3.

The stadium held its breath collectively and stepped Pujols batting, Craig Allen in the first place.

Then, in one of the most inexplicable decisions this series, Craig took off for second. Napoli was not fooled for a second. As soon as Ogando fastball touched the catcher’s glove he threw the ball to second, taking off from Craig.

The drive led to a noticeable change.

Pujols walked and took third on a single Matt Holliday, but the fly ball to center back David Freese would row 10 th in scoring position transition at the input (in total, the Cardinals grabbed 11 RISP).

Michael Young led off the bottom of the eighth inning with a double into the gap. Nelson Cruz and David Murphy both reached base, the burden on Texas.

Since then, everything was Napoli.

The batter hit a deep right on the right of the glove of Marc Rzepczynski unfortunate. Thus, the score was 4-2. The Rangers fans were waving their towels like the stadium was on fire.

To alleviate the Cardinal managed to fight off the rest of the Texas bats in that inning, but Napoli did not end with your storefront.

Top of the ninth, and the Rangers are in a situation known, Pujols to bat with Craig in the first, Napoli behind the bag. When Craig, somewhat predictable at this time, made a career for what appeared to be a clear attack, Napoli did not miss a beat.

The final out was his game, too. Napoli ran up the line to offer a slight ball hit Mitch Moreland Berkman at first, and Game 5 belonged to the Rangers.

“I was just trying to get something in the garden,” Napoli said of his game-winning RBI in an interview after the match with Fox Sports. He was also “trying to get out” on its two outstanding defensive plays.

It’s not just tonight that the recipient has excelled in humility. Napoli hit .320 with 30 homers during the regular season and has been responsible for 14 RBIs in the playoffs. Yes, that’s almost a third of the 44 total runs Texas has scored this postseason.

Now the Rangers are one win of the prizes that eluded them last year, and for that matter, since it became a team of just 50 years ago.

It will not be a gimme.

The Cardinals hitters looked sharp, unlike the error riddled Rangers infield. If not for the ability of Napoli on both sides of the ball, the game could easily have gone differently.

Wednesday’s game will match 5 Colby Lewis (1-1 with a 2.95 ERA in the postseason) on the mound against Jaime Garcia (0-2, 3.97).

The Cardinals have Albert Pujols had another kind of performance of Game 3, where he went 5-6 with four runs. Pujols went well in his only at-bat before against Lewis, but the right has largely bleached bats rest of San Luis.

Napoli, meanwhile, has been without electrical stress in the entire postseason, and shows no signs of slowing.

After all, he is trying to win.
